I'll let you in on a secret of mine. I've never wanted to plan weddings. That was never anything I thought about. As the chain of events that led me into this industry really wasn't all that thrilling, motivating, or significant, I'll skip that section. (Ask me more questions later.) The fact that my heart is in helping and serving others is what matters. I founded The Rebel Wedding Planner as a choice for couples who appreciated the importance of expert guidance but weren't drawn to the elevated, expensive options offered by more conventional wedding planners or event design companies. I wanted to provide engaged couples, their parents, and anybody else involved in the wedding planning process the opportunity to avoid the excessive information available and acquire the professional help they required without giving up control of the planning process. I know a lot about St. Louis wedding vendors, customs, and fashions because I was born and raised there. (Which high school did I attend? Class of 2001 at Ursuline Academy. I've been in the wedding business for ten years, so I'm knowledgeable about etiquette, budgeting, and customization. What aspect of this job is my favorite? making new connections. Typically, St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Franklin County, Jefferson County, St. Clair County, and Madison County are the locations of my weddings. Outside of these regions, I'm happy to support weddings, although there might be travel costs.
