White Ink Calligraphy

My name is Claire White, and I run the calligraphy business known as White Ink Calligraphy with all of my heart and hand. In 2014, I began to dabble in the art of pointed pen calligraphy, and since then, my appreciation for all things hand-lettered has only grown (pardon the pun). I am able to apply calligraphy to virtually anything, and I would love the opportunity to get creative and discover fresh and exciting ways to bring calligraphy into your upcoming event. You'll be able to see examples of my work at various venues all over the world on my website, ranging from intimate family get-togethers to large-scale business functions and everywhere in between. I have a soft spot in my heart for brides, and I feel honored to share in the celebration of their big day. And before you ask, yes, I do call the city of Nashville, Tennessee home. Nashville is widely regarded as the bachelorette party capital of the world. I always tell my brides that the invitation and envelope are the first things that guests will see when they arrive at the wedding, so it is important to make a good first impression. I would be delighted to work with you to design a bespoke calligraphy suite for your invitations and envelopes, as well as anything else you might need! I am based in East Nashville, and if you are a bride in the area, I would be happy to meet with you in person. Aside from calligraphy, I'm an attorney who used to work in the public sector before switching to private practice. I was born and raised in Nashville (#unicorn), and I've loved watching the city develop over the course of my lifetime here. I am very passionate about giving my support to other locally-owned businesses, especially those run by women, and I try to work with other female business owners as often as I can. Remy, a golden retriever who is twelve years old, is my dependable assistant and is never far from my side.
