Pine River Ranch sits along the Wenatchee River in the Cascade foothills near Leavenworth, Washington, with 23 acres of mountain scenery framing its ceremony and reception sites. The property combines a working bed-and-breakfast with a wedding venue, hosting one wedding per day so that each couple has full run of the grounds. Receptions take place in the property's historic register barn, which also serves as a rain-day backup for outdoor ceremonies held elsewhere on the property. Couples can draw from more than 1,000 decor pieces kept on-site for free use, and the barn holds up to 150 guests from May through October, or 100 guests from November through April and on Sundays. Overnight guests stay in one of four suites — Ponderosa, Main House, Nason, and Natapoc — each with a private bathroom, Jacuzzi tub, and private deck, plus complimentary breakfast each morning. Couples marrying at Pine River Ranch are asked to book all four suites for their wedding night, keeping the celebration close to the river and mountains that drew them there in the first place.

Mountain Springs Lodge and Conference Center was built on that same ground in 1990, using local rock and native Northwest woods, with buildings positioned to preserve open meadow views and a wide panorama of the high Cascades. For weddings, the lodge offers several distinct settings across the property: Aspengrove, a mountain meadow ceremony site ringed by quaking aspen; the hand-hewn Beaver Creek Barn, strung with bistro lighting against a forested mountain backdrop; Beaver Creek Lodge, built with massive timbers and a river-rock fireplace; and Ponderosa Meadow, an open meadow beside a pond with views of the Cascades. Couples and their guests can also stay on-site, with recreation on the grounds that includes a swimming pool, horseback riding, fly fishing instruction, ziplining, and, in winter, sleigh rides and snowmobile tours.

Red Barn Farms occupies a working century farm in the Palouse region of southeastern Washington, twelve miles south of Pullman. Established in 1901 by Christine and Florent Meyer, the property has passed through four generations of the same family; current stewards Ty and Kay Meyer converted the farm into an event venue in 2007. The centerpiece is the original barn, its timber frame built from fir harvested on nearby Moscow Mountain more than a century ago. Renovations added a new floor and foundation, repaired the original joists, and introduced lighting and indoor restrooms, while leaving the timber framing and barn wood exposed throughout the reception space. Cafe lights and lanterns hang overhead, and the barn's doors open onto a covered front patio that doubles as a second dance floor. Guests move from a terraced ceremony area overlooking the rolling hills, entered through the barn's grand double doors, into the barn itself for dinner and dancing, with an adjacent courtyard and patio extending the layout for cocktail hour, yard games, and larger gatherings. Four acres of landscaped grounds, including lavender and wheat fields, surround the buildings, and a separate structure called The Suites provides wedding-party preparation space, a kitchen, and meeting rooms.
