Our family built the entire barn and landscape by hand. Brides can choose between getting married in our lovely wooden barn or on our outside arbor. The site is set on 50 acres of land that was once a tree farm. Spring wildflower meadows, big dogwoods, flowering pink crab apples, and Chinese Pistache that turn gorgeous shades of scarlet and orange in the fall were all planted in rows decades ago. On your wedding day, we do our best to make things as convenient and uncomplicated as possible. The rental price includes the rooms, kitchen, reception, and outside areas.   Salt Lick Cellars is a wine garden and tasting room in Driftwood, Texas, situated next door to the original Salt Lick Restaurant, about 15 minutes from downtown Austin. The Roberts family began planting the surrounding vineyard in 2006, setting 35 acres with Tempranillo, Mourvédre, Syrah, and Grenache; the first bottled Tempranillo was released in 2008, and the tasting room opened in 2009. Guests gather on a shaded, wrap-around patio and deck beneath ancient Live Oak trees, surrounded by the same vines that produce the wine poured inside. Alongside its own line of reds and whites, Salt Lick Cellars pours other Texas-grown wines and local craft beer. Private events for up to 75 guests are available Monday through Friday, with decorative lighting strung through the oaks for evening gatherings.
