The Richardson Woman's Club is a beautiful rural house in the center of Richardson. It was founded in 1903. Both the Founders Hall and the Clubhouse, located on a beautifully forested acres, provide an ideal location for a variety of events including weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, luncheons, banquets, parties, and many other sorts of gatherings and gatherings. If you're having a buffet, Founders Hall, which is the bigger of the two venues, can accommodate 250 people, while seating 168 guests is possible in the smaller space. With a capacity of 102 people, the Clubhouse is the more intimate of the two venues on the property. Alexander family and is an unusually well-proportioned design of English influenced architecture with a neo-classical influence that is still standing today. The Dallas Woman's Forum purchased the building in 1930, and it was refurbished and redecorated in 1967. The front columns, which are made of Vermont granite and are two storeys tall, are a focal point. The gateway roof is supported by the columns, and the entablature that surrounds the roof is basic in design. The Carriage House may be rented for wedding receptions, bridal showers, birthday celebrations, and other special events of many kinds. The two-story facility is equipped with a kitchen, two restrooms, and tables and seats for up to 50 people. China, crystal, flatware, punch glasses and coffee urns are all included in the rental price of the event. Tablecloths (in either white or black) can be rented for an additional fee. At the Heard-Craig Center, you may have your garden wedding. A total of 150 people can be accommodated in the Garden. Guests will be greeted by a big white Gazebo (which will be used for the ceremony) and two white wedding arches, which will allow them to make a spectacular entry. An additional Secret Garden is located behind the Gazebo and is available for surprise engagements as well as Engagement Photo Sessions. Sara joined Lone Star Mansion in 2015 after earning her certification as a Certified Wedding & Event Professional, working as an outside planner, and running her own venue. She's behind the scenes ensuring our brides have the perfect day when she's not conducting tours and getting to know each couple. Sara enjoys spending her free time with her spouse and friends traveling around the world. Tigi has worked with all area of weddings, from assistant coordination to videography, flower design, cake creation, complete planning, and everything in between. Tigi genuinely cares about individuals and enjoys assisting them in planning their ideal wedding. She is genuinely concerned about each couple and enjoys building long-term relationships with them during the planning process. Tigi has progressed to the position of Senior Event Director after joining Lone Star Mansion in 2015. Tigi and her husband are foster parents and manage a nonprofit while they are not at the Mansion.

The Surrey House is a big historic residence that was constructed around 1910. It has withstood a century of tornadoes, fires, and other natural calamities to become one of the most well-known wedding venues in the North Dallas community. A complete renovation of the facility was carried out in 1998, and a partial renovation was carried out in 2011. Just a few blocks south of the old town center and the magnificently renovated county courthouse, you'll find this stunning residence in McKinney's historic area. Behind the main home is a big deck that overlooks the rear yard and a wedding gazebo that was expressly created for the occasion. Brides and bridesmaids can get ready for their special moments in the bridal cottage, which is located at the southern end of the backyard on the south side. It is possible to host events of up to 150 people in the Surrey House and its surrounding grounds. If an event, such as a reception, is to be held solely within the Surrey House, the maximum number of attendees is 100 people. Indoor seated weddings are limited to a maximum of 100 people. The Queen Anne Victorian home that was built in 1899 and is known as the Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House is considered to be the most preserved of its kind in the region. This exquisite Victorian masterpiece of a little over 5,000 square feet was constructed by English architect Howard Messer for Galveston widow Mrs. George Ball (Sarah) and her son Frank in 1899. The home was built high on a hill overlooking the Trinity River. At a time when the typical cost of a dwelling was between $2,000 and $4,000, the construction of the house came to $38,000. The house has had just three different families live in it over its entire existence, and it has seen very few changes since it was first built. There are towers, gables, copper finials, a slate tile roof, and a porch made of red sandstone and marble on the late Victorian facade. The elegant interior has its original wood mantles, cornices, paneling, coffered ceilings, and parquet flooring. The McFarland House was declared as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1979, as well as Fort Worth's second Historic and Cultural Landmark in 1980. In 1979, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places, and in 1980, it was certified as such by the state of Texas.
