The Goldbergs are our surnames. Our family came together in the spring of 2016 to develop this venue with the goal of providing a calm setting for the most wonderful occasions. The structures were framed by brothers. The stained glass was produced by grandparents. Interior touches were put together by siblings, cousins, uncles, significant others, and friends to help bring this idea to life. We believe that the joy you experience with the people you love should be the focus of any celebration, so we're here to take care of some of the logistics. Stillwater Meadow is a wonderful event site in Aledo, Texas, called after the property's delightful pond and lovely meadow. For any wedding party to enjoy, our large site has a gorgeous wedding chapel, a tastefully fitted reception hall, and separate get-ready spaces. Wedding weekends are held at Stillwater Meadow, which provides an idyllic location. All rental packages include full access to a storage area stocked with decor for your usage. The Bridal House features a kitchen, mirrored salon, and expansive front and back porches. The Groom's Retreat is housed in a 1905 barn that has been refurbished. It has a calm ambiance as well as a patio space. Stained glass, mosaic windows, and antique pews adorn our Chapel. This medieval setting is enhanced by an ancient bronze bell and other wooden decorations. The sides of the chapel open up to provide the scenery of being outdoors with the comfort of being indoors for those who prefer to stage an outdoor ceremony. As a result of our desire to be closer to our children and grandkids, we closed the doors of our long-standing San Antonio-based business, Steve Heflin Architect/Builder (www.steveheflinhomes.com), and relocated to the Ft Worth region in 2011. The idea of a commercial venture that would bring together our talents in design, construction, décor, and hospitality sparked our imaginations, and we began daydreaming and planning for it. Our 35 years of marriage, combined with a sprinkling of supernatural guidance, may have prompted the notion of developing a wedding/event venue that was distinct in both style and beauty for our clients. We discovered a 21-acre farm just outside of historic Weatherford, TX, while searching the Fort Worth countryside. Beautiful trees, natural springs, and pasture area are all part of this estate, which has been in the family for 115 years. We began collecting architectural elements such as 300+ year old doors, gables, mirrors, tables, rustic wagons, gates, and benches from Texas and Santa Fe, using the same expertise and attention to detail Steve used in designing beautiful custom homes. These elements will be used in both a Country Chapel and an Event Center, which will be completed in 2018. This is where the journey begins! Construction began when the land was purchased, the move was completed, the designs were drafted, and the road was built. The Brooks at Weatherford, a new community in Weatherford, is taking shape one step at a time. Even as we cherish the opportunity to be near to our children and grandchildren, we are reminded and assured that marriage is worth the effort of remaining together and, more importantly, worth celebrating. Not only do we intend to provide a lovely setting for celebrations, but also a location where people want to hang out and enjoy themselves. This location is about an hour and a half away from downtown Dallas. A couple's wedding can be attended by up to 250 people at this ranch. The Fall Creek Ranch land is wooded and lush with vegetation. Couples can marry just off the creek's banks at a ceremony spot. Couples can say "I do" under a natural wedding arbor in the open air of this setting, which is surrounded by large trees. From folding white chairs laid up in the short grass, guests watch the love story unfold. The rest of the property can then be used for wedding photos, including magnificent shots among the tall trees and intimate ones on the covered bridge. Couples and guests dance the night away on polished floors, adding to the romantic mood of the reception hall. One end of the long hall has a stone accent wall. The staff at this venue aids couples with cleanup and setup on their wedding day, alleviating some of the stress so they can relax and enjoy the event as guests. The farm's bridal room can be used for day-of preparations, while onsite parking makes it easy for guests to arrive. This venue may also provide lighting and sound services for a couple's wedding. If the couple chooses to celebrate their wedding in a different venue, this room can be used for a bridal shower or engagement party in addition to ceremonies and receptions.

Built in the 1920s, the Old Red Barn has recently been refurbished with climate-controlled heating and air conditioning. The 4,300-square-foot barn has a saloon bar, toilets, and a covered porch area that can accommodate up to 250 people for a sit-down reception. The party continues after dinner on the outside dance floor, which is lighted by market illumination. The location has a two-story timber cabin that can be used as a bridal suite or a groom and his party's getting-ready room. The historic property takes its name from a stone bridge visible along the riverbank and is built around natural features including ponds, waterfalls, tree-covered paths, and unique rock formations rising above the water. At the heart of the grounds stands the Tree of Life, a live oak believed to be more than 200 years old and ranked among the ten largest of its kind in Texas; its outstretched branches can host up to 300 guests for a ceremony. For receptions, Tuxedo Hall offers 6,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space with a balcony, large windows, a dance floor, and a kitchen and bar area for caterers, opening onto an outdoor deck through a run of French doors. Bellavita Farms, owned by Joel and Julie Rogers, is a genuine working ranch with 80 acres of Bermuda grass hay, Texas native pecans, and Arabian horse breeding. Joel Rogers, a USMC veteran who served in the mid-80s in Hawaii, Japan, and on the DMZ in South Korea, is originally from Oklahoma. He has worked as a firefighter for the City of Fort Worth for the past 30 years after being honorably retired from the military in 1986. Julie Rogers, a native of California, spent her early years in the business world, including several years with The Walt Disney Company, where she planned and handled a variety of large-scale corporate special events, parties, and offsite meetings. Julie is also a talented photographer and flower designer with over 25 years of experience breeding Arabian show horses. On the day of your event, the venue rental is from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (14 hours). 45 - 6' rectangular tables and 250 white outdoor chairs are provided. Additional complimentary ornamental tables of various shapes and sizes are available for gifts, guest books, cake, and other items. We enjoy what we do at Bellavita Farms, and it shows!
