    The Powelton Club is a private country club established in 1882 in Balmville, New York, set on a 100-acre property overlooking the Hudson River and the Hudson Highlands, approximately 50 miles north of New York City. Founded as the Powelton Lawn Tennis Club and a charter member of the United States Lawn Tennis Association, the club has been welcoming members and their guests for more than 140 years. The current clubhouse — a red brick building designed by Francis Abreu and completed in 1930 — serves as the setting for weddings, private celebrations, corporate gatherings, and nonprofit events. The club hosts one wedding per day, and all events are available to members and member-sponsored clients.     19Main occupies the United Bank Building in historic downtown New Milford, Connecticut — a beaux-arts structure built in the early 1900s following the Great Fire of 1902, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. After nine months of restoration by Village Green Investments, the building opened as an event venue in September 2015, preserving three original bank vaults as a nod to its storied past alongside thoroughly modernized amenities. The venue offers two reception rooms suited to a range of event sizes. The larger room accommodates up to 150 guests seated or 250 for cocktail-style receptions; the smaller room fits up to 50 seated or 100 cocktail-style. For wedding receptions with a dance floor, the venue hosts up to 130 guests. 19Main books only one event per day, ensuring exclusive use of the full space from morning through midnight. Weddings, social events, and corporate gatherings are all welcome. Outside caterers and vendors may be brought in with prior approval, and the dedicated event coordinator — on-site since 2016 — supports planning from initial booking through the final hour of the event.
