  We are a modest business run by a Chicago native with a long family history in the maritime industry. The "Summer of George" was created with the intention of being a party boat. The 100-foot, two-story yacht is available for guests to experience. Cocktail tables and bench seating are set up on the open-air rooftop terrace. It's ideal for relaxing and taking in the scenery, as well as dancing the night away. The climate-controlled lower deck allows passengers to sail in comfort regardless of the weather. On both sides, enormous mahogany-trimmed windows provide 360-degree vistas for sightseeing. This level also houses the restrooms and the main bar. There are a variety of floor plans to choose from. The boat is in River City Marina, 900 South Wells Street, and beneath Bertrand Goldberg's famous "River City" structure. On the South Branch of the Chicago River, it's about 6 blocks south of the "Willis Tower," also known as the "Sears Tower."   Public Landing Banquets occupies a historic setting inside the Gaylord Building in downtown Lockport, Illinois — a limestone structure with exposed brick walls, wooden beam ceilings, and a connection to the Illinois & Michigan Canal corridor that gives the property genuine architectural character. The venue's event floor, operated as The Loft at Public Landing, offers three distinct spaces. The Loft is the main room, accommodating 50 to 160 guests for weddings, large banquets, and celebrations, with balcony access overlooking the Riverwalk and Lincoln Landing. The Board Room and The State Room each host up to 50 guests, suited to showers, corporate meetings, and intimate gatherings. All three spaces include white linen table cloths, black napkins, black chiavari chairs, glassware, and silverware in the rental. The building is fully wheelchair accessible, with dedicated handicap parking and elevator access to all event floors.   Schram Memorial Chapel

  The Schram Memorial Chapel, named after famed Navy Captain Richard A. Schram and originally built at the Glenview Naval Air Station during World War II, served as a place of worship for thousands of servicemen and women passing through this military installation. The Village of Glenview and Kimball Hill Builders moved this historic non-denominational chapel from its original position after the Naval Air Station closed. The Schram Memorial Chapel is now held by the Glenview Park District and can be rented by groups, individuals, and organizations. Its rich history and impressive religious construction make it a very unique location for important milestones and memorable occasions. Both the rehearsal and the ceremony will be staffed by a caretaker. The caretaker is in charge of making sure the building is available to the renter during the agreed-upon rental hours, as well as setting the temperature and audio equipment. They are unable to direct your event, but are delighted to answer questions and make recommendations. The rehearsal can take place on any day (a week before, the night before, etc.) as long as the required day and time are available. The rehearsal will last one and a half hours. In addition to the ceremony rental, this time must be paid for. Typically, five flower stands, two altar shelves, 20 pews, and two podiums are all decorated. Except for tape on an aisle runner, we do not allow the use of nails, glue, or tape. Ribbon, tulle, or rubber bands can be used to connect pew decorations. Decorations are usually put up approximately 20-30 minutes prior to the wedding. Renters and their service providers have access to the building during the agreed rental term.

The centerpiece three-story barn was constructed around 1830 and rebuilt and expanded between 1860 and 1870, with its basement hand-excavated by removing 750 tons of dirt and original redwood timbers shipped in by steamboat from Hamburg. At its peak around 1900, the settlement included tenant houses, blacksmith shops, a sawmill, and more than 15,000 orchard trees. Today, the property combines that timeless architecture with a koi pond, apple orchard, and sweeping hilltop views. BILLBOARD FACTORY LOFT & ATRIUM The Atrium, arguably Chicago's most spectacular wedding ceremony and cocktail event location, was once a workshop for giant advertising billboards in the early twentieth century. The Atrium, perched atop the Ravenswood Event Centers' Loft & Showroom spaces, looks down onto Ravenswood, Chicago's classic neighborhood. All tours are by appointment only and are typically available Monday through Friday during regular office hours. During your contract hours, you and/or your caterer have access to the facilities and kitchen amenities (refrigerator, freezer, warming oven, ice machine, microwave, and bar refrigerator). Our table and chair inventory, in-house audio system, garbage bags and removal, and facilities staff to manage your event are all included in your rental. Table linens, utensils, and dishware are not provided by the Park District.

  The placement of Boqueria in the center of the West Loop's Fulton Market District provides three unique spaces for groups and parties to gather. Large events may also be held at the facility, which can be hired out in its entirety. The cocktail area, which is sandwiched between floor-to-ceiling windows and the bustling bar, is the ideal setting for festivities directly beneath the glow of the Fulton Market sign at night. The main dining area puts your guests in close proximity to the excitement at the bar while still giving them with a private spot to relax. The open-kitchen dining room combines the open kitchen and dining space together to provide a more intimate atmosphere where guests may receive a front-row seat to the activities of the cooks in their kitchen.
