Slade Run Farm, the newest and most upscale wedding venue in Maryland, is situated on 60 rolling acres of farmland. Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion is an elegant yet relaxed 40-acre private property located 9 miles from downtown DC. The venue comprises the historic Mansion, a climate-controlled tented terrace (Apr-Nov), and surrounding lawns. The tented terrace is the backup plan for your ceremony in case of inclement weather and can accommodate all your guests. During the winter months, our historic Mansion is ideal for receptions, holiday parties, corporate events, and so much more. There is no sales tax. BYO alcohol, no corkage. Part of the rental fee for contracts of 8 hours or more is considered a donation to Nature Forward and is tax-deductible.
