  Flamingo Gardens is a 60 acre Botanical Garden and Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary. The Flamingo Gardens botanical gardens in Fort Lauderdale (Davie), FL, features over 3000 species of rare and exotic, tropical, subtropical, native plants, and trees. Flamingo Gardens wildlife sanctuary is home to the largest collection of Florida native wildlife, including alligators, bobcats, eagles, otters, panthers, peacock, and of course, flamingos! At Flamingo Gardens you will find 60 acres of botanical gardens creating the picture-perfect wedding setting to share with family and friends. Learn about the life cycle of butterflies and see live examples of the different stages of the butterfly life cycle during special classes in the BBQ Pavilion at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm both days. Take home wildflower seeds to start your own pollinator garden at home and release a live native butterfly at the end of the class. Cost of class is $10.00 per person ages 3+, plus admission to Flamingo Gardens. Space is limited to 30 people. (Price does not include admission to Flamingo Gardens and must be purchased separately.)
