  The Heritage Ballroom at the Edward Schock Centre of Elgin is a city-operated banquet venue in Elgin, Illinois, situated along the Fox River adjacent to scenic Walton Island. The ballroom accommodates up to 275 guests and features floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows overlooking the water — a setting well-suited to weddings, receptions, anniversaries, and milestone celebrations. The space includes a private entrance, coat rooms, a full dance floor, a complete sound system, and audio/visual capabilities. Bar service is available through custom packages, and outside catering is permitted. A bridal suite and groom suite are provided for couples.   FitzGerald's is an incredible private event venue. With rich history, vintage charm, and scalability from 25 – 750 people, we offer a unique alternative with character and flexibility. Our collective decades of experience in event production come in handy as we support you through the planning process. From before the invitations to after the thank you cards, we got you. FitzGerald’s has been a place for gathering since it was built in the early 1900’s. Up to 1925, the frame building at 6615 W. Roosevelt was a roadhouse used as a hunting lodge and sporting team headquarters. As more buildings rose along Roosevelt Road, the property was home to several nightclubs, the best-known being The Hunt Club, which flourished through the 1950’s and early 60’s–acts included Turk Murphy, Bob Scobey and Lil Armstrong. After the Hunt Club closed, the space became the Deer Lodge, complete with pool tables and a fortune teller. The FitzGerald family bought the building in 1980, and since that time FitzGerald’s has gained a national reputation for excellent live music in a casual, comfortable atmosphere. Along the way, the family purchased the buildings on either side of the club; the corner building now houses FitzGerald's Sidebar, a neighborhood cocktail lounge as well as a private event space. On March 5th 2020, Chicago entertainment veteran Will Duncan (Thalia Hall, Dusek’s/Punch House, MONEYGUN/Saint Lou’s) acquired the buildings and business from the FitzGerald’s family as they transitioned to retirement. The ownership transition achieved an uninterrupted experience for the many regular patrons, without closing for even one day. Will is keeping the name, preserving the legacy, and bringing fresh energy to this old roadhouse at 6611-6619 Roosevelt Rd. in Berwyn.

  White Pines Golf Club is a Bensenville Park District facility set on more than 260 acres of maintained grounds west of Chicago. A fixture in the Chicago area since 1928, the club has evolved from its origins as an 18-hole course into a full-service event destination with two spaces designed for private celebrations. The Banquet Room accommodates up to 240 guests and features vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a wrap-around balcony overlooking the golf course, pond, and water features. It is well suited for wedding receptions, corporate dinners, and milestone events where guests can take in course views throughout the evening. The Pavilion is a climate-controlled permanent outdoor tent available from May through September, accommodating up to 300 guests. A secluded west-side patio adjoins the space for cocktails and mingling. Together, the two spaces serve weddings, quinceañeras, golf outings, showers, business meetings, and fundraisers, with catering handled by an in-house culinary team.

  The Musket Room

  Our outside garden can seat up to 20 people, or our back dining room with views of the garden can seat up to 30 people for a seated meal and 40 people for passed hors d'oeuvres. A complete restaurant buyout can seat 60 people for a seated dinner or 80 people for a cocktail reception. On Tuesday through Thursday evenings, we can accommodate up to ten visitors, and on Friday and Saturday evenings, we can accept up to six guests. When the pandemic struck the following month, she played a critical role in assisting the all-female ownership and management team in weathering the storm and maintaining their Michelin star. She draws on her extensive fine-dining experience as well as her family's culinary memories to create menus that defy categorization, deftly fusing Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Asian, and new American influences into dishes that are completely unique while remaining firmly rooted in their histories.
