Useless Bay Golf & Country Club sits on Whidbey Island in Langley, Washington, where the course unfolds across two distinct sides, each with its own mountain and territorial views. The greens are undulating, meticulously manicured, and playable year-round. No round feels quite the same twice. From the clubhouse, the dining room and Clubhouse bar look out over the fairways, often catching the sunset. The club's recreation extends well past golf. A remodeled pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and a bocce ball court round out the grounds, alongside a year-round calendar of concerts, wine tastings, and cooking classes. For weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, reunions, company parties, and fundraisers, Useless Bay's banquet facilities extend indoors and outdoors, set against those same serene views. Up to 200 guests can be accommodated, with full-service waitstaff, furnishings and linens, plated or buffet dining, a full bar, a dance floor, and microphone and sound equipment. Catering is available to members and non-members alike.
Lake Lawrence Community Club
15735 Topaz Dr SE, Yelm, WA 98597, USA- Spaces for 320 Guests
Lake Lawrence Community Club occupies a lodge built in 1923 as Edwards Pavilion, when Louie Armstrong and Amber Reichel raised the building from logs felled on the property itself and Frank Noreen constructed its fireplace. The pavilion served Edwards Resort, a fishing and recreation getaway on the lake, and hosted dances there for decades before the resort closed in 1973. The lodge and its grounds then became part of Lake Lawrence Community Club, which now opens the space to the wider community for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, family reunions, and other private events. The lodge hosts guests with 38 banquet tables, 4 round tables, and 310 folding chairs, along with two separate dressing areas for the bridal party and groom. A full kitchen equipped with a professional range, microwave, 100-cup coffee maker, three refrigerators, and a beverage cooler supports on-site catering. The parking lot holds 300 vehicles under supervised parking, and motorhomes and RVs are welcome to stay overnight. Rentals run from Friday setup through a Saturday event day and a Sunday morning cleanup, giving wedding parties and event hosts a full weekend at the lake.
The Marshall Center

- 1 Ballroom
- 4 Event Spaces
- 1 Meeting Space
Marshall/Luepke Community Center welcomes outside and catered food for every event, with access to an on-site commercial kitchen available for an additional fee — a flexibility that lets hosts bring in their own caterer rather than working from a set menu. Beer, wine, and champagne can be served with a licensed bartender and a state banquet permit, though hard liquor is not permitted. The Community Room, set inside the Luepke Senior Center, is a ballroom-style space with a stage and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Marshall Community Park, holding up to 270 guests for weddings, quinceañeras, holiday parties, and family reunions. For smaller gatherings, the Oak and Elm Rooms at Marshall Community Center can be booked separately or combined with a movable divider wall, accommodating up to 50 guests each or 100 together. A conference room seats 8 to 12 for meetings, and Marshall's pool can be reserved for swim parties and private swim rentals. The building is ADA accessible with free on-site parking, and staff handle table and chair setup, provide a podium, microphone, and audio-visual equipment, and help coordinate the reservation.
Hilton Vancouver Washington
301 W 6th St, Vancouver, WA 98660, USA- Spaces for 800 Guests
Hilton Vancouver Washington sits in the heart of downtown Vancouver, directly across the street from Esther Short Park, with the Vancouver Waterfront's shops, restaurants, and pier a nine-minute walk away and Portland International Airport about 15 minutes by car. The hotel offers 30,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space spread across 21 rooms, including two main ballrooms with 18-foot ceilings that can be divided into a variety of configurations, plus nine additional meeting spaces that hold up to 100 guests each. Altogether, the hotel's spaces accommodate gatherings of 10 to 1,000 guests, from intimate meetings to large-scale conferences and celebrations. For weddings and social events, the ballroom is set up with a hardwood dance floor, candlelit tables, and white linens, and the hotel's events team helps arrange custom catering, including "Meet with Purpose" menu options. Smaller meeting rooms on the second floor bring in natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows, well suited to more intimate gatherings. On site, guests and event attendees can also visit Grays, a sustainably minded restaurant and bar serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with locally sourced ingredients, along with Esther's Coffee and Espresso Bar. The hotel also features an indoor pool, fitness center, and on-site parking.
