1789 is a fine dining establishment in the heart of Georgetown's historic residential district. Chef Samuel Kim prepares seasonal American cuisine. Daytime events can be held in a variety of rooms, while evening events can be held in an elegant private dining room with an equestrian theme. The setting is ideal for smaller weddings, rehearsal dinners, and brunches. Infrastructure and Capacity It is possible for couples to celebrate their wedding with groups of up to 125 people. This venue, which is housed in a renovated Federal house, has four rooms where couples can dine with their friends and family. For a seated dinner, the Middleburg Room can accommodate up to 56 guests in comfort. Guests will be transported to the nearby Virginia hunt country when they enter.
