On 40 acres of land, this exquisite venue has a classic white chapel and a large reception area for a quiet, romantic setting. As you walk down the aisle, you'll be surrounded by a panoramic panorama of apparently endless green pastures. This event area is named after the proprietors' favorite flower, the flower of heaven, according to legend. Hunter and Christine Scheffler were inspired to develop the property when looking for a wedding destination for their own wedding. They desired a location that was close to the city yet far enough away to have a pastoral feel. With The Gardenia, which is only a 20-minute drive from Denton, Hunter and Christine combined the best of both worlds. It is conveniently accessible, yet it also provides enough room in the gorgeous countryside to make you feel at ease. The Gardenia Wedding & Event Venue has a courtyard, reception hall, and chapel that can accommodate 50 to 300 people. Couples have 5,300 square feet of floor space in the reception hall, which is flanked by 20-foot gallery windows for natural light and views. For outdoor ceremonies and cocktail celebrations, their outdoor bar area, covered porch, and arch rentals provide a nice, pet-friendly choice. Separate lounge areas, private restrooms, private balconies, and large TVs are available for prenuptial leisure in the wedding party suites on site. Air conditioning and heaters are provided in both the indoor and outdoor spaces to keep you and your visitors comfortable in any season. The Carriage House may be rented for wedding receptions, bridal showers, birthday celebrations, and other special events of many kinds. The two-story facility is equipped with a kitchen, two restrooms, and tables and seats for up to 50 people. China, crystal, flatware, punch glasses and coffee urns are all included in the rental price of the event. Tablecloths (in either white or black) can be rented for an additional fee. At the Heard-Craig Center, you may have your garden wedding. A total of 150 people can be accommodated in the Garden. Guests will be greeted by a big white Gazebo (which will be used for the ceremony) and two white wedding arches, which will allow them to make a spectacular entry. An additional Secret Garden is located behind the Gazebo and is available for surprise engagements as well as Engagement Photo Sessions. In addition to hosting a wedding shower tea, the Heard-Craig Center for the Arts provides an ideal location for booking a private picture shoot in the magnificent parlor, the library, or the front porch.

James' parents are seated in the front row! When James and Connie Trojacek bought the site in 2014, they realized their dream of creating the ultimate event facility. The gin is full of personality and provides a unique, pleasant setting for every occasion! The "Seed Barn" was remodeled in 2017 and is now a fantastic addition to the property! This structure is ideal for wedding ceremonies, showers, informal gatherings, and birthday parties. The Telico Gin is a family-run establishment.
