Meadowlark 1939, a historic estate 50 minutes south of Atlanta and steeped in history, is a reminiscence of English-inspired gardens combined with the warmth and welcome of southern charm. With crawling ivy, magnolia trees, statues and statuettes, clear lakes, and walkways to meander, we've created an environment where significant moments and connections can flourish! The journey begins with a site visit, during which you will be able to appreciate the beauty and heart of Meadowlark 1939 and her caretakers. We guarantee that from the moment you set foot on the site, you will "feel" the beautiful wedding setting of your dreams. Meadowlark Garden consisted of a total of seven acres of old formal gardens, which were set inside a 400-acre conservation area. The ancient property, which was built in 1883, has 2,200 square feet of furnished area for preparations and storage. Our 150-year-old Pecan tree provides a gorgeous backdrop for any event, and the site can accommodate up to 300 guests depending on the configuration of your event. There are a variety of ceremony and reception sites available on the property. Ingram family has owned this historically historic property since it was purchased in 1939, when they purchased the original farmhouse built in 1891, which is now a museum. When Frank Ingram and his wife, Rhoda Hopson Ingram, bought the ancient farmhouse, they immediately started renovating it and planting flowers in it. Rhoda Hopson had a genuine passion for gardening, and she imagined walkways and allees that would meander through pleasant garden rooms, which she saw come to fruition throughout her life. A number of years later, her grandson Jay Averett, together with the property's caretakers, AP and Alea Moore, revived the gorgeous property as Meadowlark 1939, bringing it back to life.

Court Street Livery is a restored 19th-century barn in Washington, Georgia, steps from the town square in the heart of Northeast Georgia — roughly two hours east of Atlanta and under an hour from both Athens and Augusta. The 3,000-square-foot venue centers on a wide open floor plan beneath 35-foot vaulted ceilings with soaring heart pine rafters, posts, and beams. Three large garage doors open the space toward an adjoining plaza, flooding the interior with natural light and allowing the event footprint to expand outdoors under a tent when the occasion calls for it. Exposed brick walls, finished concrete floors, antique chandeliers, and variable lighting round out a setting that suits everything from a seated wedding reception to a gallery showcase to a corporate meeting. The main hall accommodates up to 175 guests indoors. A full catering kitchen with commercial appliances is on-site, and clients are welcome to bring their own caterers and beverages. The lovely "Horse Range Vista" is being rebranded and reborn as "The Farm at Ashley Ridge," and it boasts a stunning mountain view that will serve as the backdrop for countless stories and events in the years to come. Open Door Community House is a nonprofit community center located in Columbus, Georgia, offering its auditorium and kitchen for private event rentals. The facility at 2405 Second Avenue serves as a hub for a range of community programs while also welcoming outside groups who need a functional, welcoming space for celebrations and gatherings. The auditorium is a spacious hall featuring hardwood floors, chandelier lighting, and a raised stage — well-suited for baby showers, reunions, banquets, and community events. Hightower Falls is a 100-acre outdoor event venue nestled in the Appalachian foothills of North Georgia, approximately one hour west of Atlanta. At its heart stands an 80-foot spring-fed waterfall alongside the ruins of a historic gristmill — a site with roots stretching back to 1845, when Elias Dorsey Hightower built a three-story stone mill that once ground wheat and corn for the surrounding region. The property survived the Civil War undisturbed and operated its mills into the 1930s before the Walls family acquired it in 1995 and opened it for private events. The venue spans 100 acres with 2.5 miles of hiking trails, 11 camping cabins, and multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces accommodating between 2 and 200 guests. Hightower Falls hosts weddings, elopements, photo shoots, showers, anniversaries, family reunions, celebrations of life, and corporate events. Surrounded by fine homes, in the shadow of skyscrapers, is a small oasis….the delightful village of Vinings. At its heart are two historic gems, The Pace House and The Old Pavilion. Wrapped in nineteenth-century charm, they provide the perfect setting for today’s weddings and special corporate or private events. The Historic Pace House was built from the remains of the 17-room antebellum home of Vinings founder Hardy Pace. The house served as General Sherman’s temporary headquarters where he planned the siege of Atlanta. After the Civil War, Hardy’s son, Solomon Pace, returned home to find the family home in ruins. Sometime around 1870, Solomon rebuilt the home – albeit more modestly- from doors, windows and remnants of several small cabins that survived the fire of the main house. Today The Pace House consists of a parlor, a dining room, and a bridal suite which can be used as a private retreat for the bride and her attendants or event host. This modest frame house has a sense of history so tangible that you feel it from the moment you enter. Adjacent to The Pace House, The Old Pavilion, itself a Vinings landmark, was a place where old Atlanta Society entertained and danced the night away during the late 1800s and until the early 1900s. Today guests can use this historic property to make history for themselves. With a warm, rustic ambiance, The Pace House and The Old Pavilion feature a versatile reception area that is perfect for any occasion. Both buildings are connected to a spacious open deck area which can be a beautiful site for a ceremony and may also be transformed into your dance floor or cocktail area for your event. The Pace House and The Old Pavilion are operated by The Vinings Historic Preservation Society, a non-profit organization. Kacey and Hillery Cecil, Marietta residents, own The Foxglove and its in-house florist, 131 LeFleur. The Foxglove hosts private parties, gatherings, weddings, and receptions and was born out of a desire to see a magnificent old building repaired and revitalized while adding something new and interesting to the square. We've done everything we can to maintain faithful to the building's character and history, including keeping the original brickwork, steel-framed factory windows, and industrial overhead beams. The Foxglove and 131 LeFleur, located at 54 Atlanta Street, are conveniently placed walking distance from the historic Marietta Square. Champagne toasts in the garden courtyard, canapés under the sweeping draperies, and dancing under the original steel beams overhead. The Foxglove oozes the historical ambiance inherent to its Marietta Square setting, having been thoughtfully built with respect for the building's unique charm. The details have an exquisite, slightly industrial sense to them.
