We enjoy our wedding business at Beautiful Beginnings Farm, and we're excited to announce that we're expanding. We decided it was time to brick in the pavilion and install some wonderful rustic windows that can be left open if desired. It is equipped with a heating and air system as well as additional tables to seat up to 185 people. This also provides us with a better backup plan in the event of adverse weather. If rain is expected, the ceremony might be held in the Pavilion. We're ecstatic about our progress and can't wait to tell our potential clients about it. When couples reserve this venue, they have access to both the barn and the pavilion. They'll be able to employ harvest tables, seating options, and numerous decor things as well. With us being only open since the middle of 2021, we are proud to be the latest addition to this thriving Augusta neighborhood.

Purchased by an Atlanta couple from the family estate after the youngest daughter Cara’s death in 1996, the home was a small bed and breakfast for some years. In 2007, Barb Shadomy purchased Stonehurst after discovering it while in England studying interior and garden design. For 17 months, Barb and her team of architects and contractors, specialists in historic and eco-friendly systems, renovated and restored the home and its gardens. The house meets standards set by the US National Park Service, the GA State Historic Preservation Office, Southface and EarthCraft House. Our historic property features beautiful indoor and outdoor locations for intimate ceremonies and receptions including our music room by the grand piano and fireplace or outside by the pavilion.
