The Pasadena Scottish Rite Events Center occupies a historic 1925 cathedral at 150 North Madison Avenue in Pasadena's Playhouse Village neighborhood. The building was dedicated that year complete with an auditorium, stage, and extensive scenery capabilities, and has served as a landmark of the community ever since. Its Egyptian-motif entrance, added in 1961, features terrazzo flooring and intricate architectural craftsmanship that sets the tone for the interior spaces throughout. Two primary event spaces are available for rental. The Cobb Auditorium seats 454 guests in a theater setting equipped with professional sound, lighting, and stage capabilities — well suited to performances, ceremonies, and large-scale gatherings. A full-service banquet hall at street level, accessible from the North parking lot, accommodates up to 300 guests for dinners, receptions, and private celebrations. Pío Pico State Historic Park preserves the restored adobe home of Pío de Jesus Pico, the last Mexican governor of California, on a five-acre property in Whittier that was once part of his 9,000-acre Rancho Paso de Bartolo. The site is registered as California Historic Landmark No. 127 and offers a rare window into mid-19th-century California history. The grounds feature the fifteen-room adobe residence with interpretive displays, a traditional horno (bread oven), a dovecote, and historic gardens — making it a distinctive outdoor setting for weddings, ceremonies, and private events. The property is ADA accessible and includes restrooms, parking, and picnic areas. Special events are coordinated through the Los Angeles District Special Events team, and the park's events team handles availability, pricing, and permitting for private rentals.

In 1910, the Altadena Country Club, as it was originally known, was established, and on December 28, 1911, the club celebrated its grand opening. The Clubhouse's footprint was expanded in 1916, and a swimming pool measuring 25 feet long by 8 feet deep was added. By 1917, World War I had taken its toll, and membership had dropped by half, putting the organization on the verge of closure. A group of members took over the struggling Club in 1920 and renamed it the Pasadena Golf Club to reflect the new location. As part of an effort to keep up with the growing popularity of golf, the course was completely rebuilt with grass tees, greens, and fairways that were of the highest quality. The course was praised for having the largest tees and greens on the Pacific Coast, as well as a "traveling sprinkler" that moved from hole to hole. The Clarke Estate was built as the home of Chauncey and Marie Rankin Clarke in 1919. A wealthy, socially prominent couple, they hired architect Irving Gill to build their country home on 60 acres of citrus groves in Santa Fe Springs. Gill built this elegant house in an unusual style for the era.

Heritage Park is a six-acre historic venue in Santa Fe Springs, California, set on the restored grounds of the Hawkins Ranch, which prospered in the 1880s. The city of Santa Fe Springs reconstructed the park's Victorian-era landscape using historic photographs, resulting in a setting that includes beautifully landscaped gardens with lattice arches and cherub statuary, water fountains, a carriage barn built in the Gothic style, and a plant-filled conservatory that serves as a popular backdrop for wedding ceremonies. The park accommodates a variety of events — from wedding ceremonies and receptions to photo sessions, corporate picnics, and private parties. The Plant Conservatory, originally built around 1870, provides an intimate ceremony setting, while the historic Carriage Barn and surrounding park grounds suit larger gatherings.
