Vibiana, a historic cathedral-turned-event-venue built in 1876, is a true oasis in the Historic Core of Downtown Los Angeles, California. Since 2012, Amy Knoll Fraser and Chef Neal Fraser have operated the property, bringing their guest-first, holistic restaurant hospitality philosophy, honed over three decades in the industry, to special events. In 2015, they opened Redbird, their flagship New American restaurant in the former rectory building adjacent to the Cathedral, which currently houses five additional private event spaces upstairs and an intimate garden. The Frasers have created an award-winning full service experience with the Redbird | Vibiana culinary, beverage and event management teams, providing restaurant level service from beginning to end with every detail considered. Our versatile compound is one of Los Angeles’ most unique outdoor-dominant private event venues; quite possibly the perfect canvas to build your special celebration around. Worthe Ranch is configured to work beautifully for a plethora of events including weddings, quinceañeras, bat/bar mitzvahs, and other private parties. The front of the property is bordered by walls with large commercial gates which provide exceptional access (even for semi trucks), security, privacy, and valet staging. Cars, food trucks, vendor equipment, and portable bathrooms will all fit comfortably along the 25’ wide gravel “loop” bordering the 10’ decomposed granite “track” and massive grass field. The 1,200 SF Ranch House on site is a part of the venue rental and is a fully furnished “set worthy” midcentury-themed time capsule perfect for photos, final pre-ceremony makeup touches/outfit changes, cooking, or just hanging out with a glass of whiskey.

Built in 1906, The Huron Substation is a stunning historical landmark originally used to serve downtown’s Yellow Car streetcar system. A fire the building survived in the 1980s left a stunning black patina across the historic brick walls. An open staircase leads up to a 1,500-square-foot mezzanine above the main level.
