The National Liberty Museum sits in the heart of Philadelphia's Old City, a neighborhood layered with history and energy. Founded more than two decades ago by Irvin Borowsky, a Philadelphia publisher and philanthropist, the museum was built to illustrate that liberty is a fragile idea that survives only through active engagement, and it continues to anchor its exhibitions and programs around that mission today. The historic building spans four floors and 30,000 square feet, with original architectural details and rotating exhibitions like "The Forgotten Freedom" and "The Art of Free Assembly" providing a distinctive backdrop for private events. Flexible rental spaces throughout the museum accommodate anywhere from 25 to 350 guests, making the venue suited to everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale weddings, corporate meetings, and charity events. Hibachi Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar sits directly on the water at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia, with views of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and the city skyline. The restaurant blends traditional Japanese cuisine with a lively atmosphere, offering hibachi grill tables where chefs prepare meals tableside alongside a full sushi bar and a more relaxed dining room with live piano music. For private events, Hibachi offers a spacious private dining and catering area that ranges from an open catering space suited to intimate gatherings up to a larger private banquet room for weddings, receptions, and large-scale celebrations, accommodating up to 180 guests. Positano Coast by Aldo Lamberti brings the beauty of the Amalfi Coast to Old City Philadelphia. The restaurant's chic, colorful interior offers an escape from the city into a Southern Italian-inspired setting, suited to both quiet evenings and elegant affairs. The kitchen draws on the food and culture of Southern Italy, with a menu centered on fresh seafood and house-made pastas. The restaurant hosts private events ranging from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations, including weddings, birthdays, rehearsal dinners, bachelorette parties, and baby showers. Several private rooms are available, and the events team collaborates with clients to customize menus and settings for each occasion.

The Historic Powel House and Garden is available for intimate weddings, private dinners, and corporate events. Rates given include up to four hours of event time, however you can purchase additional hours. The 2nd floor ballroom may be used for seated luncheons or dinners of no more than 40 people. We can accommodate up to 75 guests for indoor standing cocktail-style receptions. Outdoor Ceremonies & Receptions max out at 100 guests. Venue rental does not include tenting fees, which are required for all outdoor parties over 40 guests.

We are the only waterfront hotel in Philadelphia, featuring three unique ballrooms, all with fantastic views of the Delaware River. The Discovery Room offers the utmost privacy on our 3rd floor and can accommodate up to 120 guests for dinner and dancing. Our Columbus Ballroom can hold up to 170 guests and boasts sprawling views of the Delaware river, Spruce Street Park, and the city! We also have our Grand Ballroom that holds upwards of 500 guests and features 17-foot ceilings and a large floor to ceiling window looking directly out to the river!

Built in 1786, this square, four-story brick house is the only free-standing Federal townhouse remaining in Society Hill. With its huge doorway fan light (the largest in any Pennsylvania residence in 1786) plus grand proportions and straight, classical lines, Physick House is an exceptional example of the Federal style. It is decorated with outstanding examples of French-influenced Neoclassic furnishings, popular during Dr. Physick's time in the house. The unusually large city garden is a serene and peaceful.

We are a quaint neighborhood wine pub & retail wine shop in the historic Headhouse Square. We have a private event space that can comfortably seat up to 20 guests for a seated meal and host up to 35 people for a standing drinks & hors d´ oeuvres affair. For groups of 6-10ppl, we have a semi-private table in our wine shop. The entire restaurant is available to be bought out for larger groups.
