Bellavita Farms, owned by Joel and Julie Rogers, is a genuine working ranch with 80 acres of Bermuda grass hay, Texas native pecans, and Arabian horse breeding. Joel Rogers, a USMC veteran who served in the mid-80s in Hawaii, Japan, and on the DMZ in South Korea, is originally from Oklahoma. He has worked as a firefighter for the City of Fort Worth for the past 30 years after being honorably retired from the military in 1986. Julie Rogers, a native of California, spent her early years in the business world, including several years with The Walt Disney Company, where she planned and handled a variety of large-scale corporate special events, parties, and offsite meetings. Julie is also a talented photographer and flower designer with over 25 years of experience breeding Arabian show horses. On the day of your event, the venue rental is from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (14 hours). 45 - 6' rectangular tables and 250 white outdoor chairs are provided. The Ostreum is a Roman amphitheatre built in the first century AD. Weddings and special events are now being hosted at the venue, which opened its doors in June. The pebble walks lead to stone walls, archways, and even a little bridge over a water feature, all of which are surrounded by lush flora throughout the year. The Garden comes to life at night with the glimmer of lights hanging from all of the giant trees and the many chandeliers throughout the space. Its event spaces were originally constructed as mule barns in the early 1900s, when the district processed over 50 million hogs and 40 million sheep at the peak of the Texas cattle trade; the buildings have since been restored to blend that Western heritage with modern comforts, retaining original brick flooring and abundant natural light. Three venues make up the property: Stampede Ballroom, Stockman's Club, and Lone Star Hall, sized for gatherings from intimate ceremonies to receptions of hundreds of guests. Rental includes tables and chairs, linens and napkins, complimentary centerpieces, an in-room sound system, and an onsite event manager, making each space a turnkey setting for weddings, corporate meetings, and fundraisers alike.
