The San Jose Clubhouse has been organizing intimate social gatherings for our San Jose neighbors for over a century. Within these walls, we celebrate weddings, graduations, Quinceaneras, bar/bat mitzvahs, festivals, infants, birthdays, and memorials. This Arts and Crafts bungalow, established by the ladies of We and Our Neighbors, is a historic landmark and California's oldest continuously utilized women's clubhouse. The San Jose Clubhouse welcomes you to host your next event with fewer than 80 attendees. This charming establishment has been meticulously preserved and upgraded to retain its original charm. It's perfect for modest weddings, anniversaries, bridal or baby showers, memorials, business meetings, birthday parties, boutiques, art displays and music recitals, and more, thanks to its comfortable masonry fireplace, hardwood floors, and stained glass lighting. "We and Our Neighbors" are our auxiliary and celebration guides, for which we are grateful. We and Our Neighbors, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, owns the San Jose Clubhouse. "We and Our Neighbors is dedicated to fostering educational and social events among its members, conserving the historical clubhouse, and supporting important causes in the adjacent as well as broader community," their mission statement states.

We have a drop-down white screen for slideshows or films, speaker podium and seating for up to 700. Non-profits frequently host their big fundraising events here. We provide tables, chairs, a bar area and fully equipped commercial kitchen. Use the stage for entertainment or an auctioneer. Friedman Event Center is equipped for speaking engagements and presentations. We have a drop-down white screen for slideshows or films, speaker podium and seating for up to 700. Friedman Event Center is a great choice for smaller conferences. We can accommodate up to 700 in theater-style seating or up to 1,000 in a general assembly format.

The vast Magnolia Terrace, located just east of the blue-and-white palace, is Maple Lawn's crowning achievement. It is a true jewel in the crown of the garden. Following a winding path through an ornate iron gate, the first thing that meets you is a profusion of brightly colored, blossoming hedges. A elevated, canopied patio lies just ahead, and going out beyond it is a wonderfully beautiful grass, which is flanked on three sides by mature magnolia and camellia trees, which adds to the tranquility of the setting. A wide brick promenade runs right through the center of the field, and it is embellished with two multitiered fountains, each of which is crowned with dramatic statues of Greek goddesses.
