This historic roadhouse, founded in 1941, is located in the geographic middle of Marin County and is only "25 minutes from anywhere." Nicasio, which means "the hidden one," is a charming community nestled among the undulating hills of Marin County. Nicasio has remained untouched by the passage of time, nestled in a remote valley with views of grassy hills, woodlands, and peacefully grazing ranch animals. Rancho Nicasio, located on the north side of Nicasio's New England-style town square, is the town's heart and soul. A magnificent deep green grass, vine-festooned gazebo, a shady grove of pines with an outdoor stage, al fresco bar, wide open grill area, patios, decks, and more make for a lovely backdrop.
