A traditional tablecloth from the Republic of Georgia that is used for special occasions. A Georgian feast with an abundance of food, wine, and toasts is being held ( sometimes poetic, often lengthy, occasionally punctuated by song ) DC's first restaurant to serve all of the aforementioned items. To recap, a "supra" is a celebratory feast that includes a large amount of food, copious amounts of wine, and toasts from a special guest known as a "tamada," who serves as a sort of super-toastmaster responsible for keeping the party going. Our private dining room, bar, or the entire restaurant can be reserved for your very own supra or other special event at no additional cost. For reservations, the private dining room (PDR) and Supra table are available for two booking windows: from 5:15 pm to 8:15 pm or from 8:15 pm to close (whichever is earlier). Amélie DC Bistro & Wine Bar

1315 14th St NW, Washington, DC 20005, USA
    • Spaces for 80-100 Guests

Amélie – Washington, D.C. Step through the door and Logan Circle falls away. Candlelight flickers off wine glasses, the low hum of conversation mixes with the clink of cutlery, and somewhere behind the bar, a cork is being pulled from a bottle that took someone real care to choose. This is Amélie — and for one evening, it's yours. It started, as the best things do, with a group of friends who loved food, loved wine, and loved France a little too much to keep it to themselves. In 2006, that love became a small bistro on Polk Street in San Francisco. Word spread. The concept traveled — to Fairfax, to West 8th Street in New York, to Amsterdam Avenue — until it finally found its way to Logan Circle, D.C., where it's been welcoming neighbors and newcomers alike ever since. Every Amélie has its own kitchen, its own wine list, its own regulars who know exactly which stool is "theirs." But they all share the same instinct: pour generously, cook honestly, and make people feel like they've just walked into a favorite corner of Paris. At its heart, Amélie is a wine bar — a deep, thoughtfully curated by-the-glass list built for lingering, for toasting, for second (and third) pours. Around it, Executive Chef Anthony Lemortellec turns out French classics and seasonal plates that taste like they were made for exactly this kind of night. Bring your people. Whether it's an intimate dinner, a cocktail hour that stretches past last call, or a weekend brunch worth talking about for weeks, Amélie sets the table and lets the evening take it from there. Host your next celebration here — and give your guests a taste of Paris, right in the heart of D.C.

Thanks to the historic building that's been beautifully modernized in a manner that's both elegant and edgy, such stunning features remain as soaring ceilings, dramatic skylights, beautiful period architectural details, plus grand marble staircases (perfect for snapping those frame-worthy wedding day portraits). Hotel Monaco’s 7,000 square feet of meeting and event space are bold areas ripe for swapping stories, monumental life moments or business ideas. The décor reflects the same regal and classical aesthetic throughout the three rooms named for bold, international cities – Paris, Athens and Tokyo. Hotel Monaco's premier event space, the Paris Ballroom is a former library created for the Postmaster General on the fourth floor of the building that features a dramatic dome skylight and classical columns. The building’s historic architecture is surrounded by shimmering acanthus leaf patterned wall coverings and over scaled matelassé window treatments topped with Christopher Guy mirrors that accentuate the drama of the space. Megobrebo! (Dear Friends!) Welcome to Tabla, DC’s first and second with Supra being our sister restaurant (and only) Georgian restaurants. As no less a chef than Rene Redzepi put it a few years ago, Georgian is the last great undiscovered cuisine in Europe. He was right then, but it’s no longer ‘undiscovered.’ In 2017, we opened Supra at 11th and M, and it’s been a big hit, bringing cheesy khachapuri, soup filled ‘khinkali’ dumplings, and Georgia’s many veggie options to DC diners. We also have the largest Georgian wine list outside the country – Georgia being the world’s oldest wine culture – and the first Georgian craft beers to reach the States. We opened Tabla in 2020 in the Park View/Petworth area, bringing a more-casual vibe to the décor (Georgian street artist ‘LAMB’ did the interior paintings and other artwork) and taking a few more liberties with the menu (still Georgian, but some dishes are not completely traditional). We offer catering for all private events! Email us for more details Tabla@supradc.com
