Culaccino
As the first solo concept from executive chef and owner Frank Pullara, Culaccino is downtown Franklin’s local gem for authentic Italian cuisine. With more than two decades of experience, Pullara moved from Naples, Florida, to Middle Tennessee in 2020 to open Culaccino – a place to celebrate family, food and heartfelt memories. Up to 40 guests can be accommodated for weddings in Suites 1, 2, and 4, and our talented event staff manages these events entirely in-house. The bridal parties can prepare and pre-wedding photos can be taken in Suites 1 and 4. A property buyout is necessary for weddings with more than 40 guests. With a hotel takeover, the property can accommodate up to 85 visitors. The involvement of one of our Exclusive Caterers is necessary for weddings with more than 40 attendees. The wedding planner, who will serve as the main point of contact for the hotel, is a requirement. Every wedding must have a backup plan in place in the event of bad weather. The Hotel Saint Cecilia provides the ideal setting for your team retreat or group offsite with all of your important stakeholders. For planning and celebration, whether it's an annual meeting or client cocktail hour, our private venues offer a distinctive atmosphere. Our experienced culinary team at Hotel Saint Cecilia can serve private dinners and breakfasts for groups of 6 to 40. Up to 20 guests may dine at the Terrace Private Dining, and up to 40 guests may dine in the Piazza or Private Yard of Suite 4. A hotel buyout is necessary for private dinner for groups larger than 40 people, which can accommodate 85 people.

It is tucked away in a convenient location between Austin, San Antonio, and Bastrop. Camino Real Ranch is steeped in agricultural tradition despite its recent founding in 2019. The farmhouse on Camino was constructed in the 1940s, when the land was being used as a pig farm. The property was purchased by Mike and Vanessa Torres, who had been neighbors on the Camino de Santiago and became good friends with the previous owners. They started Heart of Gold Farm and then bought our breathtaking greenhouse from a rose farm that was located in Smithville. They started cultivating organic vegetables to help others who were less fortunate and to provide food banks in the central Texas area. They were responsible for the property's charming appearance, having constructed the Quonset Hut and furnished the farm with traditional and genuine tipis from Oregon. They brought their gorgeous new family to this area, and it was in the Quonset Hut that their son Walker learned to walk for the very first time. His cute little hand prints may be found imbedded in the concrete of our backyard patio.

The new owner of Carol’s Pub has found a few mysteries inside the 45-year-old North Side dive. The biggest holdup preventing the bar from reopening — it’s been closed since September 2016 — has been fixing the west wall that faces Clark Street. The late-night dive has been a popular spot for cheap beer and live country music for decades at 4659 N. Clark Street.

The Garden Studio Dallas
6,500-sq foot studio space located in the heart of the Dallas Design District with a lush garden oasis. The large open plan studio layout provides plenty of options to design a perfect environment for your event. The space has a Poggenpohl kitchen at the front of the studio and an industrial kitchen at the back of the studio designed for food prep. Additional rooms for hair and makeup and a loading dock are available. The space is available for holiday parties, corporate events, meetings, art events, dinner parties, photo shoots, experiential events and book launches. Outside vendors are welcome. Mel's
The compact restaurant room that was previously John Dory is now a pizzeria: Mel's, the first restaurant of a new culinary complex here, squeezed snuggly to one side of the former Del Posto. Melissa J. Rodriguez, a former Del Posto and Daniel chef, is teaming up with Jeff Katz and James Kent of Crown Shy and Saga to create this enormous location. While its finely calibrated lighting will keep it "glowy and sensual," it will also be the kind of restaurant you can pop into just because you're hungry and it's Tuesday. Mel's is warmly decorated with orange tones and polished light wood, with a bar and dining counter that open into a back dining area and a massive wood-fired pizza oven in the center. Ms. Rodriguez explained, "Everything is cooked with wood. There’s no gas here." The pizzas begin with a Margherita base but quickly branch out to include mushrooms, smoked mozzarella, and sliced shallots, as well as kale, basil pesto, ricotta, and preserved lemon. Wood-fired dishes include roasted parsnips with robiola cheese, roasted maitake mushrooms with soppressata piccante, and charred shrimp, as well as major courses such as entire fish, whole roasted cauliflower, and strip steak. Dessert is not an afterthought or something to forego at this pizzeria. Consider a milk chocolate gelato with a dark chocolate sable swirl, salted caramel and fior di latte gelato with caramel sauce and shortbread crumble, or a Little Italy-inspired Italian rainbow cookie hot fudge sundae.
