  The Ostreum is a Roman amphitheatre built in the first century AD. Weddings and special events are now being hosted at the venue, which opened its doors in June. Located in Fort Worth, Texas, The Ostreum is the second venue owned and operated by Lynsie Blau. It is the sister (not the twin) of BRIK Venue. Ostreum is the latin word for oyster, and it also the name of the city in which it is situated. Named for the luxury associated with oysters and the notion that beauty is housed under an inconspicuous facade, the name is appropriate for the establishment. It is also necessary to consider the speakeasy notion. Previous to that, it served as the warehouse component of the O.B. Macaroni Factory, which was founded in the early 1900s. As well as the exposed brick walls, the venue still retains its original red wood columns and rafters. This area has been refurbished in a romantic, art deco design, which is carried throughout. Tasteful. Stylish and unique, these are the words that come to mind. The Ostreum is meant to give you the flexibility to plan your day exactly how you want it to be. Traditional red wood columns and ivory painted old cinder block walls grace the main chamber of our vast establishment. In order to facilitate the flow of your event, deep plum, sumptuous drapes can be used to divide the room into two or three different spaces. A variety of configuration possibilities for your guests are provided by our custom square tables, which are exclusive to The Ostreum.. Custom bars, seats, and cocktail tables are also included in the rental of the venue's interior. When it comes to both design and size, our dressing rooms are unrivaled.   Since 1935, Joe T. Garcia's Mexican Restaurant has been a Fort Worth institution. Mr. and Mrs. Joe T. Garcia founded the restaurant, and it has remained in the Garcia family ever since. Throughout the restaurant and on our famed patio, there are signs of a long family heritage. Joe T. Garcia's had become one of the most popular restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by the 1970s. The restaurant began to expand not only in popularity but also in size as a result of their loyal consumers. The first addition was a modest patio with a pool and cabana. Every year since then, a new patio, party space, or eating area has been built. The seating capacity has grown from sixteen in the beginning to well over 1000 presently. Even as the restaurant grows, the same style of cooking and original recipes are used, and the younger generation exhibits the same passion and enthusiasm for the business that their parents and grandparents instilled in them.   The Queen Anne Victorian home that was built in 1899 and is known as the Ball-Eddleman-McFarland House is considered to be the most preserved of its kind in the region. This exquisite Victorian masterpiece of a little over 5,000 square feet was constructed by English architect Howard Messer for Galveston widow Mrs. George Ball (Sarah) and her son Frank in 1899. The home was built high on a hill overlooking the Trinity River. At a time when the typical cost of a dwelling was between $2,000 and $4,000, the construction of the house came to $38,000. The house has had just three different families live in it over its entire existence, and it has seen very few changes since it was first built. There are towers, gables, copper finials, a slate tile roof, and a porch made of red sandstone and marble on the late Victorian facade. The elegant interior has its original wood mantles, cornices, paneling, coffered ceilings, and parquet flooring. The McFarland House was declared as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1979, as well as Fort Worth's second Historic and Cultural Landmark in 1980. In 1979, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places, and in 1980, it was certified as such by the state of Texas.

Located in the heart of Texas's Hill Country, A Thousand Cedars offers a unique forest setting brimming with majestic Cedar trees, big Oak trees, and a variety of other native Texas plants. Many clearly indicated paths lead to the location, providing convenient access for the Wedding Party and their guests. The natural scenery also provides fantastic photography options for the entire wedding party and their guests. A Colorado and Industrial motif has been included into the design of the venue itself, which features Cedar beams, black iron trusses, exposed brickwork, vaulted ceilings that reach 30 feet in height, and enormous glass windows on all sides that let the forest and natural light to fill the space. Our Bridal and Groom Suites, which are completely furnished, are accessible via a stairway near the entryway. Each Suite will be large enough to accommodate entire bridal parties as they prepare for the big day, and it will be equipped with its own shower, bath, vanities, mirrors, and windows to let in plenty of natural light. Leading from the suites, you will arrive at the inside balcony, which provides a panoramic view of the entire reception hall and is an excellent location for additional wedding day photos or bouquet throwing. In the back of the Ceremony/Reception hall, there will be a complete bar for you to stock with your own beverages, as well as access to a kitchen for any culinary needs you may have.
