Art Marble 21
A corporation known as Art Marble established a business in 1921 with the goal of providing high-end granite and stone to consumers in the Pacific Northwest, which was the beginning of our restaurant's history. Our restaurant, which was once known as Art Marble Co., was inspired by the period, and we wanted to maintain the building in order to remember its past. One hundred years later, we are happy to keep the original name of one of South Lake Union's oldest structures. The classics and staples of the past are still important to us as we usher in a new millennium of history in the city of Seattle. We also provide our own interpretation of the tastes in order to provide you the greatest flavors we can find. Art Marble 21 is now the top South Lake Union treatment for the Seattle Freeze, and it's easy to see why. AM21 has developed a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience for all of Seattle's urban professionals, residents, and tourists by catering to their specific needs. Featuring live music, games, pitchers of locally brewed draft beer, and great, locally produced cuisine to share with friends and neighbors, AM21 is a neighborhood gathering place. Grab a pitcher of beer or one of our unique cocktails and walk into our 3,000 sq ft gaming area for everyday free-play, which includes pub-style activities such as shuffleboard, bocce ball, and pool tables, among other things. AM21's multi-level facility caters to the needs of both locals and visitors, whether they are business or pleasure tourists. However, Mason's Loft on the second floor, which has customizable floor plans as well as private rooms and a secondary audio visual system, is ideal for any size business or personal event. While our first floor Social Hall welcomes any casual guest for happy hour, to catch the latest sports game or simply to enjoy an after-work cocktail, Mason's Loft is ideal for any size business or personal event. AM21 has established a space where people can get together to socialize, network, and enjoy delicious food, beverages, and friends! Whatever the occasion, whether it is a holiday party, a team building outing, an annual gala dinner or your wedding reception, a party planner can help you plan the perfect event. AM21 IS CAPABLE OF ACCOMODATING EVERYTHING!
The Steamship Virginia V
Her inaugural journey, as a member of the Puget Sound Mosquito Fleet, took place on June 11, 1922, and she arrived in Seattle on June 14, 1922. The Mosquito Fleet was the world's first regional ferry system, linking coastal communities around South Puget Sound in the early twentieth century. It was through steamship that people were carried between the burgeoning port cities of Seattle and Tacoma, as well as produce and cattle from farms on Vashon Island. In the years 1922 to 1938, the VIRGINIA V served as the principal line between Seattle and Tacoma, operating via the West Pass (also known as "Colvos Passage"), which ran between Vashon Island and the Kitsap Peninsula. The S.S. VIRGINIA V is the final operating example of a steamer from the Puget Sound Mosquito Fleet, and it is still in service today. Because of her all-wood construction and steam engine, she has been designated as a National Historic Landmark ship. To learn more about a certain issue, select it from the list below. It is possible to charter the Virginia V as a venue for a variety of events including weddings, holiday parties, business events, birthdays, anniversaries, and other small gatherings. Whether you're hosting a party dockside at our homeport on Lake Union or taking your guests on a tour of Lake Washington and Puget Sound, our historic ship is the ideal location for any event. The ship's rich history and all-wood build immediately endear it to visitors. Any celebration will be more intimate because of the size. Excursions feature breathtaking views of Seattle's skyline and neighboring districts that are likely to leave a lasting effect on those who take part in them.
Bhy Kracke Park
Featuring one of the best views in the city, this unusual park is neatly sandwiched into a steep residential area and makes ingenious use of a "difficult" space. From the sloping hillside you have a great view of downtown, Lake Union, the I-5 freeway and Capitol Hill. The park is furnished with benches, a bike rack and a drinking fountain in case you want to stay and gaze a while. It's a great place to watch the July 4th fireworks. From the upper part of the park, you can walk down the steep, ivied hill - passing azaleas, rhododendrons, and more surprise views - to a patch of grass with a play area for kids and a pergola for parents. Plan on a visit to this one-of-a-kind oasis in the heart of the city next time you visit the Queen Anne neighborhood. The view even inspired a song

Olalla Winery
Founded in 2008, Olalla Vineyard & Winery has been serving the local community. It is a small, family-owned winery with a strong connection to Croatian culture. As the vineyard grew and developed into the lovely paradise that it is today, Joe and Konnie put their souls into its development. With the help of their son Stuart and daughter Mary Ellen, the current owners hope to carry on the winemaking legacy of the past while also developing the winery into a one-of-a-kind, boutique destination vineyard and winery with a strong emphasis on agricultural tourism. The Walrus and The Carpenter
In the winter of 2009, friends Renee Erickson, Jeremy Price, and Chad Dale set out to build a fun, lively, and approachable oyster bar in their backyard — a neighborhood spot where the very best in food and drink would be served in a cozy, welcoming setting — and opened The Walrus and Carpenter the following spring. 'The Walrus' was created with a great deal of assistance from friends and family. The drawings, which are now displayed on the walls of the dining room, were created by artist Jeffry Mitchell. The majority of the cabinetry and furniture in the space was built by Jeremy's father, Tim Price. Ryan and Jim, Renee's brother and her father, were responsible for laying the brick patio. During a trip to Los Angeles, Renee and Carrie Omegna, a very dear friend who is now our Executive Director, discovered the rusted, metal, coral-like chandelier that serves as the centerpiece of The Walrus and the Carpenter in an antique yard. At long last, in the summer of 2010, The Walrus and the Carpenter became accessible to the general public. Local and national acclaim soon followed, and today, people travel from near and far to dine and drink at The Walrus and the Carpenter, which has become a destination restaurant. While this is true, the restaurant retains its neighborhood feel, serving friendly, often bustling patrons in a relaxed atmosphere where they can enjoy icy cold piles of oysters, delectable plate dishes and a wide selection of wines by the glass, beers, ciders, and sophisticated cocktails.
