Nellie's Band Room The Band Room, or main performance room, is our largest event venue, with a stage area and a large bar on the first floor. For an additional $250 and $100, respectively, you can use our cutting-edge sound system and/or lighting features. Ellis House & Equestrian Center is a 45-acre event and equestrian property within the Kendall County Forest Preserve District, situated at 13986 McKanna Road on the northwest side of Minooka, Illinois. The former estate of Steve and Cindy Ellis — donated to the district along with its 5-room house, outbuildings, and an 8-stall barn connected to an indoor riding arena — now serves as a full-service event venue open to weddings, banquets, meetings, showers, reunions, and private parties. The Ellis House accommodates up to 40 guests for a seated reception or 60 for an appetizer reception in the main level. A classroom on the property seats up to 25 for seminars or meetings. From May through October, a 40x80 tent pad allows for tented events hosting up to 200 guests, making the grounds well suited for larger outdoor ceremonies and receptions. The property's sweeping lawn, mature trees, and white-fenced equestrian grounds provide a scenic backdrop for outdoor events year-round. Guests with accessibility needs will find handicapped restrooms accessible through the equestrian entrance. The facility is a non-smoking property, and events are supported by an on-site staff member throughout the licensed period.

The Schram Memorial Chapel, named after famed Navy Captain Richard A. Schram and originally built at the Glenview Naval Air Station during World War II, served as a place of worship for thousands of servicemen and women passing through this military installation. The Village of Glenview and Kimball Hill Builders moved this historic non-denominational chapel from its original position after the Naval Air Station closed. The Schram Memorial Chapel is now held by the Glenview Park District and can be rented by groups, individuals, and organizations. Its rich history and impressive religious construction make it a very unique location for important milestones and memorable occasions. Both the rehearsal and the ceremony will be staffed by a caretaker. The caretaker is in charge of making sure the building is available to the renter during the agreed-upon rental hours, as well as setting the temperature and audio equipment. They are unable to direct your event, but are delighted to answer questions and make recommendations. The rehearsal can take place on any day (a week before, the night before, etc.) as long as the required day and time are available. The rehearsal will last one and a half hours. In addition to the ceremony rental, this time must be paid for. Typically, five flower stands, two altar shelves, 20 pews, and two podiums are all decorated. Except for tape on an aisle runner, we do not allow the use of nails, glue, or tape. Ribbon, tulle, or rubber bands can be used to connect pew decorations. Decorations are usually put up approximately 20-30 minutes prior to the wedding. Renters and their service providers have access to the building during the agreed rental term.

"Windy Pines," now known as The Redfield Estate, was built by Bertha Redfield and her second husband, Paul Petersen in 1929. The architect’s arrangement of the west wing, with its fireplace and balcony at an unusual angle to the remainder of the house, was influenced by the Prairie style of architecture. Overall, the effect is reminiscent of a country house in northern Europe. It is particularly lovely due to its variation of line, leaded glass windows, stone, stucco, and slate materials. It had a formal rose garden on one side of the home and a "natural" environment intended to attract wildlife on the other, in addition to its numerous distinctive design features. Even now, deer and other wild creatures can be seen through the windows.

White Pines Golf Club is a Bensenville Park District facility set on more than 260 acres of maintained grounds west of Chicago. A fixture in the Chicago area since 1928, the club has evolved from its origins as an 18-hole course into a full-service event destination with two spaces designed for private celebrations. The Banquet Room accommodates up to 240 guests and features vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a wrap-around balcony overlooking the golf course, pond, and water features. It is well suited for wedding receptions, corporate dinners, and milestone events where guests can take in course views throughout the evening. The Pavilion is a climate-controlled permanent outdoor tent available from May through September, accommodating up to 300 guests. CD&ME Special Events & Banquets is a multi-space event venue set on beautifully landscaped grounds in Frankfort, Illinois, about an hour south of Chicago. The property grew out of a landscaping business founded in 1992 by Frankfort residents Chuck JaBaay and Dean Vaundry, who transformed their warehouse property into an event destination after hosting a fundraiser for the National Association for Down Syndrome that grew from 250 to 1,200 attendees over 13 years. For more than a century, the Club has been a home away from home for generations of families and friends in Chicago and the North Shore. The Club, which is located on 127 acres in Glencoe, Illinois, is a haven for outdoor sports, leisure, and camaraderie about 25 miles north of Chicago. In addition to formal and informal dining and a bustling social schedule, Lake Shore has a championship 18-hole golf course, a full racquets program, and a waterfront swimming complex.
