Adventure Science Center is a not-for-profit science and technology center perched atop a hill just minutes from downtown Nashville, with panoramic skyline views from several of its spaces. Best known for its 175-plus hands-on exhibits and the state-of-the-art Sudekum Planetarium, the center opens its 56,000 square feet of exhibit halls for private events after hours and on the days it's closed to the public. Event spaces range from the Jack Wood Hall, which seats up to 136 for a banquet with downtown views and built-in AV, to the West Galleries and the Wonders of the Universe hall, a second-floor space with an open layout, a built-in amphitheater, and NASA exhibits. The Sudekum Planetarium's 63-foot domed theater seats 160 and can host private planetarium or laser shows, while smaller classrooms and the Innovation Incubator suit meetings and breakout sessions. For large gatherings, the full science center accommodates up to 1,200 guests. Even while RAD does not have a private dining room, we do provide the ideal backdrop for any event, from business dinners to social gatherings. Dishes are served family-style to all of our large groups as they are seated at a single, long table along the middle of the dining area. The cost of this family-style supper, which is based on our current menu, is $85 per person. Any dietary requirements or demands can be accommodated on the menu. We also have a minimal requirement for food and drink. The option to completely book out the restaurant for the evening is provided by RAD. Scarritt Bennett Center is a nonprofit conference, retreat, and education center set on a 10-acre historic campus in Nashville. The campus began more than 100 years ago as the School for Christian Workers and today welcomes weddings, receptions, and private events alongside its ongoing mission-based programming. At the heart of the campus is Wightman Chapel, built in classic Gothic cathedral style in 1928 and designed with acoustics that resonate throughout the space. The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. preached in the chapel in 1957, and it has been featured in the PBS series "Designed for Worship" as one of the finest sacred spaces in Nashville.
