The primary event space is a large carpeted tent that accommodates up to 250 guests for receptions, furnished with round tables, white folding chairs, a dance floor, and a bar. Built between the 1780s, the property is surrounded by lush evergreens and 200-year-old boxwoods, with formal gardens that have been carefully preserved alongside the mansion's original architecture. The mansion features two wings fitted with chandeliers, cathedral ceilings, and crown molding, making the spaces well suited to intimate gatherings, ceremonies, and receptions. The smaller wing accommodates up to 40 guests and the larger up to 85. Event rentals include seven hours of event time and come equipped with a warming kitchen, audio-visual equipment, and wireless internet. Free parking is available on-site, and the property is partially wheelchair accessible. Beyond its rental spaces, the site preserves the histories of the Snowden family and the 169 enslaved people who lived there, including its rare 18th-century summer house — one of only two on their original foundations in the region. The Anchorage is a historic estate and event venue set on three acres of manicured grounds along Maryland's Eastern Shore. The original structure dates to 1710, with the main Georgian manor house — featuring wide plank floors, elaborate wood moldings, and a paneled fanlight doorway — added in 1835 by Commodore Jacob Jones. The property has since been updated to welcome weddings, social celebrations, corporate retreats, and multi-day group gatherings. The venue accommodates a range of event formats. The Chesapeake Bay Room, an enclosed porch, handles indoor gatherings of up to 40 guests. The grounds support outdoor ceremonies and receptions of varying sizes, with a pool area suited to cocktail hours. With 11 individually appointed guest rooms on-site — including several with jetted tubs and private balconies — The Anchorage enables full-weekend event packages that include the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and post-event brunch, all on one property.

In 1823, John Miller built his hotel and tavern at the intersection of the Pike and Spickler Roads in the town of Spickler. It was one of the first stagecoach stops on the new National Pike when it was built. "There were large rooms adapted for dancing purposes, and young men and maidens from the neighborhood frequently tripped to the notes of the old time music in its spacious halls," wrote T.B. Searight of this well-known spot in 1894. The waltz was unheard of, and the figures ranged from the 'hoe down' to the cotillion, with the 'Virginia Reel' serving as the closing number. It was almost unavoidable that the old waggoneers were invited to participate in these festivities, and they did so with a fervor that could not be matched by the young men and women from the surrounding Clear Spring neighborhood." In 1864, the Miller's Farmstead site was the site of a Civil War skirmish that took place nearby. Confederate General John McCausland was planning a march from Clear Spring to Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and he happened to pass through Mercersburg. Confederate Major Harry Gilmor led 200 men on a diversionary route along the National Road, giving the impression that the main strike was to be directed at Hagerstown, which was not the case. Gilmor was caught in an ambush by the Union army near Spickler's Hill, near Miller's Farmstead, and was forced to flee. It is still possible to see the bullet holes and cannon ball marks on the east wall of what was once Miller's Tavern, which was destroyed during the battle.

Two vessels in the fleet give planners a range of group sizes: the Spirit of Baltimore, which holds up to 450 guests, and the Majesty, which accommodates up to 200. The Spirit of Baltimore spans two spacious indoor decks and a rooftop deck with panoramic harbor views. The vessel has been renovated with an enhanced dance floor, bar space, and a Harmon-designed A/V system. The Majesty is a three-level private yacht featuring an atrium vaulted ceiling that connects the first and second dining decks.
