The France 44 Event Space is designed to help create community and connection through sharing good food and drink, providing unique experiences and education, and telling the story of where and who our products come from. From our immediate Linden Hills neighborhood to our larger metro area and beyond, our aim is to provide a comfortable, creative environment to foster meaningful and lasting connections. Since 1975 we’ve been proud to call the Linden Hills neighborhood of south Minneapolis home. Our business has gone through several chapters of growth since then, and what used to be just a humble bottle shop in a defunct gas station has grown to include a foods business with a cut-to-order cheese counter, whole animal butcher shop, curated gourmet grocery, scratch deli, robust catering program, and a beautiful event space for classes and private events.​

The Dock & Paddle restaurant is housed in the Como Lakeside Pavilion, which is situated on the shore of lovely Lake Como. Both inside the pavilion and outside on the promenade, there is seating available. At the Como Lakeside Pavilion, we host events of all sorts, from weddings to birthday parties! For very large events, we have a promenade, a mezzanine level, and an event space on the third floor. Please be aware that we need confirmation of the dates for all yearly events/performances by Sunday, February 13. The processing of all additional music entries will begin in the middle to end of February. Seating at Dock & Paddle is first come, first served; reservations are not required or accepted.
