Chambers is the ideal meeting spot for any occasion, since it is conveniently located in the heart of the city, just 3 blocks from the San Francisco Civic Center and 6 streets from Union Square. Smaller parties feel pleasant in any of our little corners, even though we have ample capacity to accommodate celebrations of 700 or more attendees. Our Spaces The Horseshoe: The horseshoe is the focal point of our lounge and is ideal for informal meetings of 5-30 people. This location, which is just next to our DJ Booth and Lounge Bar, can serve as a semi-private home base for your party. The Lounge: This is where the party takes place! Our lounge has a capacity of 20-150 people and can be rented out on a semi-exclusive or full-exclusive basis. To suit any type of event, there is a complete bar, DJ booth, and an 80" flat screen television. The Patio: Drink in the gorgeous view of the pool and palm trees in our private oasis while enjoying cocktails at our super secret pop-up bar! Worried about Karl the Fog? We have wind barriers and outside heaters that will keep you comfortable while you enjoy the party. Each patio can fit up to 40-50 seated guests. The Courtyard: The pool-side courtyard, which can hold gatherings of up to 500 people and can be customized to fulfill practically any purpose, is ideal for bigger scale events. The glitter of 22-karat gold greets visitors to the China Cabin, once the elegant social saloon of the PS China, giving them a glimpse of the old-world luxury and attention to detail that first-class passengers enjoyed when the ship first sailed from its home port of San Francisco. The Cabin consists of a large room and two small staterooms. Its plain exterior belies the ornate and regal appointments inside. The walls and arched ceiling are panels of elaborately decorated wood that have been painted a crisp white and highlighted with gold leaf. Along the sides of the Cabin are a series of small, delicately etched glass windows; handsome crystal chandeliers hang at each end of the room. The Cabin also has decks on three sides that have wonderful views of the San Francisco skyline and of the colorful boats berthed at the nearby yacht harbor. The China Cabin offers a glimpse of old-world elegance and attention to detail; the result is a rich, sophisticated appearance that makes this a unique setting for a special wedding, rehearsal dinner, meeting and private or corporate party.
