The Headlands Facility for the Arts is a multidisciplinary, international arts center committed to artists, the creative process, and the creation of new, original ideas and artwork. What we do is only as significant as where we are. Just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, at historic Fort Barry in the Marin Headlands, a component of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, our site consists of a cluster of artist-rehabilitated military structures. Facility Rental: Conveniently located near home, but a world away. Headlands is a one-of-a-kind meeting spot for a variety of events and celebrations. Individuals and organizations can use our facility for classes, meetings, conferences, photo shoots, weddings, and other events. Headlands' venues are great for groups wishing to connect, brainstorm, discuss, celebrate, and think creatively in a quiet setting, just fifteen minutes from San Francisco and convenient to North, East, and South Bay regions. Our campus is located within the 2,100 windswept acres of hills, cliffs, coves, and beaches that make up the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, and is housed within artist-renovated 1907 period army barracks. Headlands' renovated and re-imagined historic military barracks have been the venue of several events that combine great cuisine, wonderful people, and a spirit of community and collaboration off the beaten path (and off the grid). The Ripon Community Center is a city-operated event facility located at 259 North Wilma Avenue in Ripon, California. Situated in the heart of San Joaquin County, the center offers two distinct halls available for rental by residents, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and groups when not reserved for city programming. The facility encompasses two connected event spaces: a Small Hall spanning 3,440 square feet with a stage and seating for up to 252 dining guests, and a Large Hall at 6,000 square feet accommodating up to 400 for dining. The two halls are joined by a full kitchen, a bar area, and restrooms, allowing groups to use either space independently or in combination for larger events. Included with every rental are 56 rectangular tables, 50 round tables, seating for up to 450 guests, dishware service for 400, coffee service, and a PA system. The facility is ADA accessible and available for weddings, receptions, community celebrations, fundraisers, and private gatherings.

The Old Whaling Station Historic Adobe & Gardens is a nationally registered historic landmark situated in Monterey's Heritage Harbor, steps from Fisherman's Wharf and Monterey Bay. Built in 1847 by Scottish adventurer David Wight as a family residence, the two-story adobe later served as headquarters for the Old Monterey Whaling Company in the 1850s — giving the property its enduring name. Since 1980, the Junior League of Monterey County has leased the adobe from the California State Department of Parks and Recreation, operating it as a historic house museum and event venue. The property offers both indoor and outdoor settings for weddings, receptions, parties, corporate gatherings, and other private events. Two event spaces serve different needs. The indoor hall seats up to 120 guests for dining and accommodates up to 250 for standing receptions.
