The Arbella, flagship of the Winthrop Fleet, sailed from England to Salem in 1630, and gave birth to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. During the voyage, the passengers and crew managed to consume the 10,000 gallons of wine that had been stowed on board as part of the ship’s provisions. In the spirit of the age of exploration, we strive to follow the ship’s occupants sense of adventure, leaving home to start something new and the search for freedom and choice to lead lives of individual distinction. We have taken this approach with our menu, giving you the opportunity to journey to many locales throughout the world of cocktails. The Vic Theatre is a unique, full-service event facility. When you rent our space for your event, our production equipment, furniture and beverage facilities are included, and production staff and security services are part of the overall package. In September 2014 the 2 year restoration of Biggs Mansion was completed. With over $4 million dollars spent and absolutely no cost spared, real estate developer and current owner Fred Latsko converted the previously known IL Mulino restaurant into Chicago's finest cigcar show and private cigar lounge. Biggs Mansion also features an outdoor patio.

avec, a Mediterranean and Midwestern influenced shared plates restaurant, opened in October 2003 out of a partnership between Executive Chef Paul Kahan, restaurateur Donnie Madia and wine steward Eduard Seitan. Chef Perry Hendrix's rustic menu, featuring Midwest ingredients from valued local purveyors, takes its cue from the sun-drenched wine regions of Southwestern Europe. Beyond reflecting the aromas, flavors and colors of the Mediterranean in its cuisine, avec's extensive wine list focuses on the region's boutique vineyards. avec's second floor private event space draws from the warm, intimate design of the main dining room, and evokes the feeling of a rustic mediterranean wine cave. With an open kitchen and private bar, the second floor can host private events for up to 40 seated guests or up to 60 guests for a standing reception. For smaller groups, the space can be divided into a small, private room for with seating for 12 guests, and a semi-private space with seating for up to 20 guests.

The Somerset Chicago has beautiful hardwood floors, glamorous gold hardware and bold yet elegant jewel toned decor. The interiors are inspired by a new-fashioned take on American Country Club culture, making The Somerset Chicago an ideal location for any elegant event. An exterior patio offers al fresco dining in season. The entirety of Somerset Chicago fits 230 guests. The Clubhouse on the second level fits 90 seated guests, and is fully equipped with its own bar, lounging spots and balcony areas. Both the Regatta Room and Upper Deck offer smaller, more intimate spaces for meetings or dinner parties.
