The property traces back to the 1860s, when it served as the area's general store and post office, and hosted the first bonded winery in the valley in 1880. Owners Ken and Diane Wilson undertook a decade of careful restoration, preserving the site's historic stone buildings and distinctive water tower while returning the property to an active winemaking operation. Historic Hotel Woodland is a Spanish Colonial Revival landmark on Main Street in Woodland, California, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Completed in 1928 and designed by prominent Bay Area architect W. H. Weeks, the hotel was built to serve as an upscale gathering place for Yolo County's most populous city. A multi-million dollar, 39-month restoration completed in 1997 returned the property to its original grandeur — meticulously preserving the hotel's architecture, artwork, sculpture, alcoves, shaded patio, and graceful fountain. The venue's spacious, beautifully restored ballroom and dining room open onto a classic enclosed Spanish-style patio with a bubbling fountain and shade trees, accommodating up to 300 guests. Saluti Cellars is a winery and wedding venue nestled in the Sierra Nevada Foothills of El Dorado County, California, set on a working vineyard at 7505 Grizzly Flat Road in Somerset. The property was developed over two decades by owner and winemaker Randy Rossi, who built the vineyards, wine caves, barns, and equestrian center largely by hand — creating a self-sustaining estate that operates on 100% solar power and holds Fish Friendly Farming certification. Pomar Junction Vineyard & Winery is a family-owned estate winery and tasting room located in the El Pomar District sub-appellation of the Paso Robles AVA on California's Central Coast. The Merrill family brings more than eight generations of agricultural heritage and California grape-growing history to every bottle produced under this label. Dana Merrill identified the El Pomar Road vineyard property in 2002, and the winery released its first vintage that same year. The family spent six years earning SIP (Sustainability in Practice) certification before opening the tasting room in 2008 and the production winery in 2011. Today, all estate wines are farmed exclusively by the Merrills, with select premium blocks sourced from Santa Barbara and Monterey Counties through their sister company, Mesa Vineyard Management. The winemaking program is led by Jim Shumate, a former Cal Poly pilot winery director with deep enology expertise.
