Two of the three structures purchased were in a state of decay and were set to be demolished. The corner location will be occupied by Stone Eagle Beer Garden, which is set to open in 2017.     1102 East is a wedding and event venue set on a historic property in East Austin, beneath a canopy of hundred-year-old pecan and native elm trees. Once home to the landscape design firm Big Red Sun, the grounds have been reimagined for events while keeping the character of the original 1930s bungalow and its mature gardens. The venue pairs indoor and open-air spaces for weddings, private events, chef-inspired dinner parties, and intimate live music concerts. A barn-inspired, steel-framed open-air structure offers a covered setting for dinners, ceremonies, and dance parties, while a newly expanded front garden entrance adds more than 2,500 square feet of landscaped event space. The restored bungalow serves as a flexible spot for private dinners, art exhibits, pop-ups, and bridal party preparation. Wedding packages range from a single-day time block to a full weekend rental that includes rehearsal dinner space and use of the bungalow, with a day-of site manager included.

    Set on 25 landscaped acres in San Antonio, the McNay Art Museum is anchored by a 24-room Spanish Colonial Revival mansion designed by architects Atlee and Robert Ayres. The mansion, its surrounding grounds, and Marion Koogler McNay's personal art collection became the founding gift for Texas's first museum of modern art, which opened to the public in 1954. In 2008, French architect Jean-Paul Viguier added the Jane and Arthur Stieren Center for Exhibitions, a 45,000-square-foot expansion housing additional galleries, a sculpture garden, a lecture hall, and classrooms. Today the museum holds more than 22,000 works spanning medieval and Renaissance art through contemporary pieces. For weddings and corporate events, the McNay opens spaces across both the historic mansion and the contemporary center, including the Blackburn Patio, Frost Octagon, AT&T Lobby, Ewing-Halsell Foundation Reception Hall, and the Leeper Auditorium, which can seat up to 300 guests. Outdoor ceremonies can be held at the Main Fountain or Gazebo, and the Brown Foundation Sculpture Terrace hosts standing receptions for up to 300 among the museum's sculpture collection. All private events include use of the museum's galleries and grounds, along with on-site parking.
