Our two MEADOW locations offer a beautiful outdoor environment with breathtaking views of one of Colorado's 14,000-foot peaks, Pyramid Peak. THE MAIN MEADOW is ideal for a scenic ceremony, a cocktail hour, and a twinkle-lit reception under the stars. Alternatively, you can choose an intimate ceremony in THE MOUNTAIN MEADOW, followed by a reception at THE T-LAZY-7 LODGE, which exudes quintessential western elegance. For a more adventurous gathering, enjoy a cozy atmosphere around the campfire at our open-air facility, known as THE CHUCKWAGON GROUNDS. You are welcome to bring in your own caterer, entertainment, and planner, allowing you to personalize your wedding or event. The Lazy J Ranch is locally owned, which homesteaded the area over 100 years ago. In addition to 3200 acres of pastures, trout ponds, and wooded timber, the Lazy J Ranch also boasts 3 miles of pristine private water on the Eagle River. After 35 years of operation, the Lazy J Ranch briefly closed its doors to the general public. This year the 4th Generation of the family is re-opening their incredible facility for weddings, corporate events, fly fishing, shooting, and more.

Flying Dog Ranch Retreat is a full-service, year-round event venue set on a 250-acre legacy ranch at the base of Mt. Sopris outside Carbondale, Colorado. Situated in the Roaring Fork Valley on land that once served as sacred hunting grounds of the Ute people, the property blends working ranch character with beautifully landscaped gardens, panoramic mountain vistas, gazebos, and a tranquil pond. The venue accommodates gatherings from intimate elopements to celebrations of up to 150 guests. Indoor events are held in the large reception room, which features a draped ceiling, a stage and dance area, and French doors that open directly to the gardens. A separate garden room with a catering kitchen and walk-in cooler supports larger receptions, and a small conference room seats up to 20 for meetings and workshops. Flying Dog Ranch Retreat is wheelchair accessible throughout and provides tables and chairs for up to 150 guests. With over 250 weddings hosted, the venue's team offers planning support, catering coordination, and connections to local vendors — all set against one of Colorado's most striking mountain backdrops, 45 minutes from Aspen and Snowmass.

Tennessee Pass Cookhouse is a backcountry dining and event destination perched at 10,800 feet in the Colorado Rockies, about ten minutes from historic Leadville. Founded in 1994 by Ty and Roxanne Hall, the venue grew from a single picnic table placed at a scenic overlook on the Tennessee Pass Nordic Center into a celebrated mountain retreat. Guests arrive by snowshoeing, skiing, or hiking one mile through the pine-forested hills — an approach that sets this venue apart from anything in a hotel ballroom. For private events and weddings, the property offers three distinct settings: a Quaint Yurt accommodating up to 45 guests for intimate gatherings, a Rustic Lodge suited to parties of up to 80, and a Modern Sailcloth Tent that opens the experience to celebrations of up to 220. An in-house chef crafts custom menus inspired by the surrounding landscape, and each wedding package includes a day-of coordinator, full-service staff, dinner with flatware and glassware, tables, chairs, linens, and a mountain ceremony site. The ownership team works directly with couples through the planning process, with the Sawatch Mountain views included at no extra charge.

The highest fourteener in Colorado, Mt. Elbert, casts a shadow on FREIGHT. Every afternoon, a passenger train still passes by the window. The stunning, completely renovated depot can accommodate over 200 guests, making it the ideal Leadville, Colorado event space, conference center, or wedding site. Along with the barn-like depot, the property also has a classy courtyard, the Whisky Lime Lounge, which was converted from an old shed, and a conference room for small family gatherings and workshops. 3500 square feet of environment are included with FREIGHT. The old timber flooring has been polished and caulked, making them the ideal dance floor for a wedding. The outdoor courtyard is a wonderful location for lawn sports, wedding ceremonies, and other group activities and boasts a spectacular view of Mount Massive. Your next Leadville wedding, business retreat, or family reunion would be our pleasure to host! FREIGHT is a family-owned business. The Andersons spearheaded the repair, and their daughter and longtime resident Elsa Tharp is now in charge. The Frisco Day Lodge sits at 621 Recreation Way in Frisco, Colorado, at the heart of Frisco Adventure Park — a year-round recreation destination nestled in the Rocky Mountains near Dillon Reservoir. The lodge's setting offers mountain scenery and an outdoor patio, making it a natural fit for events that blend alpine character with celebration. Three distinct spaces accommodate events ranging from wedding ceremonies to seated receptions and casual gatherings. The Frisco Day Lodge itself hosts up to 120 guests and is available year-round, primarily for formal receptions and parties, with limited availability between October and May. Slopeside Hall offers flexible space for up to 120 guests, divisible into three separate rooms for smaller gatherings, classes, or team events, and is available September through mid-May. The Ceremony Overlook Site accommodates up to 120 guests and provides an outdoor setting for wedding ceremonies, available mid-May through mid-October. Reservations are coordinated through the Town of Frisco Recreation Department. Prospective renters can submit a reservation request through the town's facility booking portal.
