The Mansion at Bald Hill is a historic landmark in the quiet corner of Northeastern Connecticut — a restored estate in South Woodstock that operates as a restaurant, bed and breakfast, and full-service wedding and event venue. The centerpiece for private events is the Banquet Center, a 7,500-square-foot facility that opened in 2015 and was designed to reflect the elegance of the original mansion. The ballroom accommodates up to 275 guests and features a wood arched-truss ceiling, a granite-topped bar, a dance floor, and a professional sound system. An indoor fireplace anchors the reception space, while a large adjacent patio — equipped with an outdoor fireplace, fire ring, decorative fountain, and waterfall — extends the gathering area outdoors. Site fees include a garden ceremony space, reception tables, chiavari chairs, flatware, glassware, and dishes, giving couples and event planners a complete foundation to build from. A conference room with a 75-inch LED television is also available for corporate gatherings.

Our staff can assist you with everything from a charming breakfast in our grounds to an impressive formal wedding. LOUNSBURY HOUSE – ELEGANT PARTY VENUE For your next Birthday Party, Lounsbury House provides a unique and exquisite setting. The ballroom, dining room, and Crystal Room all include original crown molding and woodwork, as well as ornate fireplaces, on the main floor of the home. The Crystal Room is decorated with ornate details and has a grand piano. A bridal suite, private groom's clubroom, and two conference rooms are located on the second floor, which also has a lounge with a central ornate fireplace. An original stained glass window graces the stairwell landing.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center is a working campus for the development of new American theater, set on a sweeping waterfront property in Waterford, Connecticut overlooking the Long Island Sound. Founded in 1964 by George C. White, the O'Neill has spent six decades as the country's preeminent organization dedicated to developing new works and new voices for the stage — earning Tony Awards in 1979 and 2010 and the National Medal of Arts in 2016. Productions first developed here include *In the Heights*, *Avenue Q*, *Fences*, and *The Piano Lesson*. The campus opens to private events from late August through spring, offering eight distinct rental spaces that range from a 300-guest outdoor garden with views of the Sound to an intimate Victorian mansion with parlor rooms and an outdoor patio. The Rose Barn Theater — original to the property — brings a rustic character to receptions and celebrations, while the Dina Merrill Theater offers the campus's largest indoor footprint with expansive windows and flexible configuration. A campus attendant is present throughout every event.

If you are planning a summer garden wedding, an intimate celebration, or a corporate retreat, the historically known Burr Mansion, nestled in the center of Fairfield Connecticut's historic area, will be a hit with your attendees. In Fairfield County, this is one of the few places with an outside tent that can hold more than 200 people. It makes a lovely backdrop for a birthday party, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, school gala, or fundraising event of any kind. The Burr is the ideal setting for any celebration, no matter how large or small. Come join us in celebrating! The Burr Homestead has a wide range of alternatives for any type of celebration, including: Beautiful gardens and reflecting lakes spread across more than four acres are ideal for ceremonies and photographs. There is an option to hire only the mansion or the mansion/tent combination (depending on seasonality and number of guests) From May through December, the 60′ by 60′ tent can accommodate more than 200 visitors. The fully equipped catering kitchen is brand new (as of 2019). It will be a hit with your caterer! Restrooms for men and women have been renovated. The fully-furnished bridal suite on the second floor is the ideal spot to prepare for the big day. Inn at Mystic is a historic waterfront resort set on fourteen acres overlooking Mystic Harbor and Fishers Island Sound in Mystic, Connecticut. Once a private estate, the property has been welcoming guests for over fifty years and bills itself as Connecticut's most historic hotel. At the heart of the resort stands the Haley Mansion, a Colonial Revival home built in 1904 by Katherine Haley and positioned above the Mystic River with views extending to Long Island Sound. The mansion retains its original character — 18th-century pine paneling sourced from an English Duke's estate, hand-carved fireplaces, and Dutch tilework — alongside formal gardens, a waterfall, and a meadow pond that provide a natural backdrop for ceremonies and photography. A 36-by-36-foot tented terrace built of Polopai wood with heating extends the mansion's event season year-round. The Haley Mansion accommodates up to 230 guests for seated events or 290 for cocktail receptions, and has hosted formal celebrations for more than a century. The on-site Rocks 21 Restaurant & Raw Bar, a waterfront venue serving seasonal cuisine and 24 craft beers on tap, offers semi-private dining rooms suited for rehearsal dinners and smaller gatherings. Dedicated wedding managers and an executive chef coordinate everything from ceremony through reception, and 52 guest rooms and suites on the property keep out-of-town guests close at hand.

With its beautiful stone façade and warm, hand-carved wooden panel interiors, the Branford House hosts festive events and gala celebrations year-round. Tarrywile Mansion is a 23-room Victorian estate built in 1897 for Dr. William Conrad Wile, a prominent Danbury physician, on the grounds of what is now a 722-acre municipal park. Designed in the Shingle Style by the New York firm Child and DeGoll, the mansion features a wrap-around veranda, grand entrance hall with sweeping staircase, and a glass conservatory — added in the early 1900s by subsequent owner Charles Darling Parks — that now serves as a backdrop for wedding ceremonies. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Since reopening in 1990 as a community and event center, the mansion has hosted weddings, milestone celebrations, corporate gatherings, and private parties. Full house rentals include the first floor — encompassing the living room, drawing room, library, dining room, kitchen, and veranda — along with second-floor bridal and groom's suites. The mansion accommodates up to 120 guests for a seated dinner or buffet and up to 150 for a standing cocktail reception. Tables and chairs are included, and the venue welcomes licensed independent caterers.
