The Halim Time & Glass Museum is home to hundreds of historical timepieces, stained glass masterpieces and artwork from around the world. A Golden Chinese Pagoda topped with over 5000 pearls, a porcelain and bronze clock that was once owned by Katherine the Great, a lobby with towering stained glass windows, and a grand, floating staircase topped with a celestial stained glass dome are only a couple highlights of this magnificent museum. The Halim Museum offers four event spaces. The Wisteria Room is a 4,000 square feet space with stunning hand-painted gilded trim, skylights to the Rooftop Garden, floor to ceiling windows with panoramic view and a wrap-around balcony. The Tiffany Gallery is a 1,500 square foot space adorn with the treasures crafted by Louis Comfort Tiffany. The Garden Room and the Zodiac Terrace offer masterpieces of stained glass and hand-painted stenciling inspired by Gilded Age mansions. The Museum Café is a smaller room adorned with timeless decor for intimate wedding receptions. Firefly Kitchen brings a taste of Brooklyn to the North Shore of Chicago. The Chef and NY native, Dean Salerno, is a restaurant veteran to the NY restaurant scene where he helped open 5 successful restaurants in the financial district and has created a thriving catering company, Firefly Events and Catering, in the Chicago after relocating with his wife from Brooklyn. The completely renovated building hosts a cozy dining room and bar with a large outdoor beer garden for warm summer months and rooftop herb garden. Firefly Kitchen is the perfect venue for small celebrations in one of our dining rooms, or buy-out the entire venue for a large soirée of up to 140 guests! The menu offers well executed seasonal classics and upscale comfort food such as lobster spring rolls, creative small plates, big fresh salads, a melt your face burger, and gluten free options.

Here at found we offer a variety of event spaces perfect for your next gathering! Our “Salon Prive” is a private space inspired by the great salons of yester-year; featuring vintage doors for complete privacy and a state of the art audio visual system. “The Library” is a warm, intimate space filled with vintage “finds” and books, custom sliding doors and dark wood features. Our “Lounge” is at the heart of Found and perfectly embodies the vibe of “Gertrude Stein’s salon of 1920 Paris meets Jack Kerouac in owner Amy Morton’s living room’. Our lounge is smart, relaxed and enhanced with a flood of candlelight during evening events. If you are interested in more space we do offer the option of a full venue buy out as well so please just ask. Since its inception in November 2012, Found has flourished as a gathering place for the community to eat, drink, and think in a welcoming and genuine environment. At the Evanston eatery, Amy's vision of a kitchen and social house comes to life in a relaxed, creative atmosphere inspired by 1920's Bohemian Paris and icons of the Beat Generation. Just as wonderful as the vibe is the food, created by Chef Nicole Pederson. Her "flexitarian menu" highlights simple, striking dishes with fresh, local ingredients and changes often to reflect what is in season.
