In medieval Ireland, a snug was a private area with its own entrance from the street and its own access to the bar, reserved only for ladies. We decided to open the Snug at the same time as the temperance movement began in Evanston to accommodate folks searching for a small private party area to enjoy our freshly-made drinks and our local fair. It has enough space for a cocktail party of up to 15 people or a seated meal for 10-14 people, as well as plenty of furniture and a huge window. Our dining room can handle a corporate lunch as well as a traditional family-style supper.. Whatever your requirements, we will do all we can to meet them. If you would want to listen to your own music, we offer audiovisual possibilities with our Sharp HD television and iPod ports. We can accommodate a party of 20 or less in a private dining experience by opening up our pre-cocktail window for you and your friends to enjoy. The Beacon Room, located on the second floor, is a semi-private area that can accommodate a group of 55 people for an intimate meal or a cocktail party for 65 people. The rental of the Beacon Room will include exclusive usage of the 2nd Floor Bar Area, which is located on the second floor of the building. For larger gatherings (over 50 people), the Beacon Room may be paired with the Hayloft room, which has a kitchen with plenty of chairs. Our Hay Loft, which is located upstairs and is fully private, can accommodate a party of 30 people for a sit-down romantic dinner or a cocktail party for 35 people. A cocktail event for up to 110 people may be held in conjunction with the Beacon Room, which can accommodate 80 people sitting down.

Unity on the North Shore is an Evanston spiritual community that has been hosting life ceremonies since the congregation moved into its current home on Christmas Eve 1960. The building — designed in a modern style and purpose-built for gathering — features a curved brick sanctuary and a brick courtyard set alongside a garden. The ministerial team performs weddings, commitment ceremonies, vow renewals, spiritual baptisms, funerals, memorials, and celebrations of life, customizing each service to reflect the family or couple being honored. Couples and families of all faiths, races, and backgrounds are welcomed.

A 7 court upscale pickleball club with a full service mezzanine bar and restaurant up in Northshore Chicago. Capable of hosting essentially any kind of event, including birthday parties for all ages, corporate events, social gatherings, and Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.

The Merrick Rose Garden features hundreds of beautiful rose bushes, as well as the historic Fountain Square Centennial Fountain. The Garden is located at Lake Street and Oak Avenue, one block east of Ridge Avenue. In 2003, new garden lighting and irrigation systems were installed and the retaining walls were reconstructed. The Merrick Rose Garden is a popular location for small weddings or special occasions, as well as for wedding photographs.

Bar Parisette is an award-winning restaurant and wine bar on a bustling stretch of Logan Square. We love hosting events, including weddings, in our spacious dining room and bar. Our dining room is large enough to accommodate groups of up to 100 in a semi-private capacity, while the two spaces combined can host up to 165 guests. The space is perfectly suited for events that include multiple elements, such as a cocktail hour followed by a seated dinner, and can be set up to include a wedding ceremony, dance floor, or performance. Our packages include bespoke menus from our culinary and bar teams, as well as service staff, furniture, plates, silverware, glasses, and more. The space features exposed brick, floor to ceiling windows, hardwood floors, vintage lighting, and custom tile. Events include use of our state-of-the-art sound system and wireless microphone. In addition to the indoor spaces, guests have access to our charming 400 square foot sidewalk patio.
