The Paces Room features high ceilings, wine racks, and exposed brick walls, all of which combine to provide an enticing ambiance for a gourmet event that is one-of-a-kind and unforgettable. It can accommodate 16 to 35 guests for lunch and supper at hand-crafted round tables, and the area can be reconfigured to accommodate both professional private dining and smaller parties. Visitors can take use of the grounds for a standing reception prior to their function if the weather is warm enough. The Paces Space is equipped with an 80" flat screen monitor that is incorporated into the room and is HDMI compliant, which may be used for presentations. Canoe’s Wine Room is the ideal spot for smaller, more intimate celebrations and gatherings. The private room seats 10 to 18 guests at an impressive rectangular handcrafted wooden table that was built into the space. The interior of the room blends wood, brick, and ironwork with vintage-select, handcrafted wines, creating a warm, rich, inviting ambiance for our guests. In warmer weather, guests can enjoy and peruse the gardens for a standing reception prior to their event. The Wine Room is also equipped for presentations, with a specially fitted screen on-site available for rent. Canoe’s covered patio offers guests unparalleled views of the Chattahoochee River and surrounding manicured gardens. The patio can accommodate private dining groups of 15 to 20 guests at either one or two long wooden tables. Canoe’s River Garden offers a picturesque backdrop that will elevate any occasion. The River Garden can accommodate 40 to 140 guests for special occasions, corporate events, or rehearsal dinners. For weddings we can accommodate 50 to 140 guests. The tent is positioned on brick pavers and it’s interior features a tent liner, chandeliers on dimmer switches and pole curtains. Canoe provides fans for cross-ventilation during the warmer months and clear sidewalls and heaters on thermostats for the colder months. Live entertainment is permitted, DJ or band, and there is a noise restriction for entertainment at 10:00 p.m.

The Fritz Farm is perfect for events both intimate and grand. The farm is designed and equipped to give your guests a one-of-a-kind experience — ensuring your celebration will be memorable from start to finish. The main barn is fully equipped with heat and air as well as a kitchen and bar area, while the iconic hay barn serves as a beautiful wedding ceremony backdrop. The property features a spectacular covered pavilion with a hanging chandelier, bar area, and a fire pit surrounded by swings. The Fritz Farm also features a few newer additions including a pole barn, pond, and greenhouse. The pole barn is 3000 square feet of covered, comfortable shelter – perfect for musical performances, gatherings, and dancing. The pond and greenhouse offer an eclectic, vintage backdrop for a one-of-a-kind farm venue experience.

Our Balcony Dining Area may be rented for parties of up to 40 people, and we provide a full-service menu. This room is placed on the second floor and has three walls encircling it, with the fourth wall uncovered to provide a view of the main dining room below. A floor-to-ceiling curtain separates the open wall idea from the rest of the room, creating a more contained and personal environment for your visitors. This space is illuminated by a spectacular wall of tall windows, which, when combined with an independent volume control sound system and an accessible flat screen television, creates an inviting and delightful ambience. There is a meal and beverage minimum requirement. Vegetarian and vegan choices are available for all events, upon request, from our Executive Chef. Any dietary limitations that exist among the group members should be communicated to the Event Manager in advance. If you prefer to hold a private event at St. Cecilia, the church can be closed to the public for your convenience. The complete dining room, bar, and balcony spaces will be purchased as part of the sale of the restaurant. Catering services for up to 150 people in cocktail hour, passing or stationed hors d'oeuvres options, and seated lunch or dinner are available, as well as a reception-style event catering service for up to 250 guests. For buyout events, there is a food and beverage minimum that is determined by the day of the week and the time of day the event takes place. Vegetarian and vegan choices are available for all events, upon request, from our Executive Chef. Any dietary limitations that exist among the group members should be communicated to the Event Manager in advance.

Cooks & Soldiers draws its inspiration from the people and the cuisine of the Basque Country in Spain and France. The Spanish call it Pais Vasco; the Basque say Euskal Herria. Regardless of nomenclature, it stands for thousands of years of fierce independence, cultural autonomy, and unrivaled cuisine. Pintxos are the Basque answer to tapas. From the word for “thorn,” a Pintxo is traditionally served on bread, pierced with a toothpick. Pintxo Bars represent the casual, convivial aspect of Basque dining, where guests order for the table over a glass of Txakoli (crisp, slightly bubbly Basque wine) or tart Basque cider. Pintxo Bars are loud, vibrant and celebrate the joy of companionship and conversation over the formality of coursed dining. Cooks & Soldiers seeks to recreate this environment with our Pintxos Tradicionales, served on toast, and our Pintxos Especiales, composed expressions from our chefs. In 1947 Italian born Arcito Castellucci married Sophia Zavanlagos, a girl from Sparta, Greece. Shortly after their youngest and only son, Federico II was born. As a young immigrant family with a strong entreprenuerial spirit, they opened a little restaurant in Pawtucket, Rhode Island called Archie’s Tavern. Sophia had grown up in the restaurant business and knew it well. Arcito had the cooking ability and the personal touch with the guests, and thus the original seed of Sugo was sewn. Even as a young child, Federico II, worked alongside his father at Archie’s learning the ins and outs of the restaurant business. Not too long after Federico started his own family, he found himself moving down to Atlanta to open a new restaurant with his wife and children called Sugo. An inspiring blend of unique family style dishes and sincere hospitality with an absolute dedication to sourcing the best local and sustainable ingredients, Sugo is a tribute to those who came before us. Now Sugo is in the hands of the next generation.
