Positioned in the heart of the city's historic downtown neighborhood, the center serves as a gathering place for community members of all ages seeking affordable recreational, leisure, and event opportunities. The facility offers several rentable spaces accommodating gatherings of various sizes: Classroom 101 seats up to 25 guests, the divisible Multipurpose Room accommodates up to 110 guests per section and up to 350 guests when all three sections are combined, and the outdoor Courtyard hosts up to 300 guests. A service kitchen is available to warm and plate catered food. Rentals are available Friday through Sunday after regular operating hours, with reservations accepted up to one year in advance. Suitable for milestone celebrations, nonprofit seminars, community meetings, and social gatherings, the center provides table and chair setup as a standard part of each rental. Come in and have a look around, make yourself at home, and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a fairy tale setting. This mansion, built by the family of Mesa's first mayor, Alexander MacDonald, is a sentimental tribute to Mesa's history and antiquity. Alexander passed this house down to his son, James, in keeping with the family history of strong morals. He and his wife had nine children, which was more than enough to occupy the house. The residence was given the name James A. MacDonald House when it applied for the appropriate permissions to build an extension, marking the beginning of its documented history.

We welcome outside vendors as well as outside alcoholic beverages. Packages that are tailored to your needs are available. Included are design, decorating, and coordination services. The Landmark has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1988. The building at 809 W. Main Street is an adaptive reuse and remodeling of a historic structure constructed in the 1920s. This historic building has been meticulously refurbished and thoughtfully planned to host intimate weddings and private parties, while retaining the original architectural characteristics throughout. The Landmark is pleased to provide a variety of package choices to accommodate guests of all financial abilities. We may also tailor any of our programs to meet your specific requirements. Guests will have access to our lovely private historic building for six hours as part of any of our packages, which can seat up to 200 people. In addition to a full soda bar, there is an indoor bar with expert bartenders available. (The client may bring in alcoholic beverages, and there are no corking fees associated with the service.)
