The Palace Theater is a National Historic Landmark performing arts venue in downtown Waterbury, Connecticut, built in 1921 to a Second Renaissance Revival design by architect Thomas W. Lamb. Following a $30 million restoration, the theater reopened in 2004, restoring its marbleized staircases, gilded domed ceilings, cut glass chandeliers, and intricate plaster relief details to their original grandeur. The theater's elegant lobbies, crystal chandeliers, and gold detailing establish it as one of Greater Waterbury's most distinctive event settings. Webster Hall — the 2,570-seat main stage where Broadway touring productions take center stage — is available for large-scale gatherings and ceremonies. The Grand Foyer and ornate lobbies accommodate up to 200 guests for receptions and banquets, while the intimate Poli Club on the second floor seats up to 100 for private dinners, business meetings, and small celebrations. The Palace Theater hosts weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, graduation ceremonies, and a wide range of private functions, welcoming groups of all sizes from 20 to over 200.

The 20-acre park combines a historic character with a working lakeside setting, making it an unusual backdrop for weddings, corporate outings, reunions, and group celebrations. Events are hosted across three dedicated catering areas, each with its own character. The Fieldside Pavilion — the park's original 1937 structure, fully renovated in 2024 — anchors large-scale gatherings with a two-acre activity field and expanded event space. The Patio Party area, situated on the lakefront adjacent to the park restaurant, accommodates groups of 50 to 200 under covered awnings with views of Lake Quassapaug. A third facility, the Trolley Stop Pavilion, serves smaller groups looking for a more intimate setting. Lakeside Caterers handles all on-site events with a menu of more than 100 items. The Fairfield Museum and History Center is a museum and research institution situated on the historic Town Green in Fairfield, Connecticut. The 12,820-square-foot building was designed to evoke the rural New England character of the region, with wood shingles and siding, divided light windows, and a windowed lobby that connects its five distinct sections — exhibition galleries, a meeting hall, an education classroom, offices, and a research library. The museum's principal rental space is the Jacky Durrell Meeting Hall, which accommodates up to 100 guests for a reception and up to 80 for a seated presentation or 72 for a seated meal. For evening events, the adjacent Reception Hall and outdoor Patio become available, expanding the venue's total capacity to 200 guests. A classroom can serve as a breakout or staging area. The venue provides a modern sound system, projection equipment, galley kitchen facilities, and a preferred vendors list of regional caterers. The museum's grounds include the c. 1750 Ogden House, the c. 1780 Sun Tavern, a Victorian Cottage, and an 1888 Victorian Barn, making the setting especially well-suited for events where history and place are part of the occasion.
