Prairie View Event Hall is a modern, light-filled venue set between Tea and Sioux Falls, South Dakota, built for weddings, corporate events, galas, fundraisers, and reunions. The 7,500-square-foot Reception Hall seats up to 450 guests beneath soaring cedar beams and a mid-room chandelier, with a large lighted backdrop and ceiling drape package that give the space a finished look for both ceremonies and receptions. The venue includes a dedicated Bridal Suite with a vintage-style mirror, antique vanity, and four makeup stations, along with a Groom's Den outfitted with couches, a TV and gaming system, and a foosball table for the wedding party to relax before the event. An adjoining prep kitchen, double staff bar, and roughly one acre of grassy yard support both indoor and outdoor ceremony setups. Prairie View Event Hall maintains an open vendor policy, allowing clients to bring their own caterer, DJ, photographer, videographer, and florist. On-site staff handle setup and teardown, and packages range from a full 12-to-17-hour venue rental to a shorter micro-wedding option for smaller guest counts.

The Meadow Barn at Country Orchard is a timber-frame wedding venue set within a working 50-acre apple orchard in Harrisburg, South Dakota, just south of Sioux Falls. The orchard's more than 6,000 apple trees, along with resident farm animals like mini donkeys, sheep, chickens, and alpacas, give couples an abundance of natural backdrops for photos, and the property hosts ceremonies onsite in the orchard meadow, with the barn's interior available as a rain-day alternative. Inside, the barn's timber frame rises to a raised center ceiling under an ornate Douglas Fir roof trellis, with a loft overlooking the reception hall and crystal chandeliers as a focal point. The space accommodates up to 400 guests and includes 60-inch round tables and wooden crossback chairs, a full bar staffed by the venue's own bartenders, and an in-house sound system with wireless microphone. A covered patio with a wood-burning fire pit extends the length of the building for guests to gather outside. The venue also includes a bridal suite with hair and makeup stations and a Bose sound system, a groom's lounge with a smart TV, and a commercial prep kitchen for outside caterers to use, reflecting the venue's open catering policy. JP Denmark is a wedding and event venue set on 40 acres, built around a lodge-style banquet hall known as The Lodge. The property centers on a large pond, with a wrap-around deck and patio that overlook the water and a covered gazebo nearby for ceremonies — the venue describes itself as a place where "inside flows into the outside" for couples drawn to a rustic, outdoor-oriented setting. The Lodge is an 8,000-square-foot banquet hall with roll-up glass doors that open the space to the surrounding grounds, along with a full-service bar and a semi-commercial kitchen. It accommodates over 300 guests and hosts wedding ceremonies, receptions, elopements, rehearsal dinners, showers, and engagement and welcome parties. JP Denmark also offers on-site overnight accommodations across 16 rooms, sleeping up to 92 guests, including a private bridal suite and a large dorm-style room for group preparation; six rooms include kitchenettes, and camper sites with full hookups are also available. The venue is booked in two formats: a package that includes the hall and all sleeping rooms for the full weekend, and a hall-only rental running Saturday.

The Dahl Arts Center is a municipal arts facility in downtown Rapid City, South Dakota, managed by the Rapid City Arts Council (RCAC). Gifted to the city by Arndt and Agnes Dahl and opened in 1974, the center nearly tripled in size following a $7.8 million renovation completed in 2009. Today it houses five visual arts galleries, an interactive children's gallery, artist classrooms, and the Cyclorama Mural, a 191-foot oil-on-canvas panorama of two centuries of U.S. history painted by muralist Bernard P. Thomas. Beyond its galleries, the Dahl Arts Center offers a 300-person performance venue available for private and corporate rentals, well suited to receptions, reunions, holiday parties, seminars, and meetings. Dakota Dunes Country Club is a private club set along the Missouri River in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, built around an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Arnold Palmer. The club traces its roots to the historic Sioux City Boat Club of the late 1800s, and the modern clubhouse opened in 1991, later hosting professional tournaments including Nike Tour and Buy.com Tour events. Following a total clubhouse renovation, the club's Banquet Room offers a modern, elegant setting for weddings, galas, and private celebrations of all sizes, with a dance floor, a balcony overlooking the Missouri River, and both an indoor and adjoining outdoor patio with views of the golf course. Granite Springs Lodge sits on the site of a former working quarry outside Alexandria, South Dakota, where underground springs gradually filled the excavated rock basin into a clear, spring-fed lake. The property began its life as an event destination in 2006, evolving from its industrial roots into a lodge-style setting for weddings, pheasant hunting, and getaways, and it has continued to add buildings and amenities each year since. The Event Center is the lodge's dedicated space for wedding receptions, banquets, and celebrations, holding up to 299 guests indoors with additional outdoor seating for 100 more. Couples can hold their ceremony inside the Event Center or at one of two outdoor ceremony locations on the property, with no extra charge for an on-site ceremony. The space recently expanded its food serving area, bridal suite, and bar to add convenience for guests. Because ceremony, reception, and lodging can all take place on the same property, couples and their guests can move between events without traveling elsewhere. Granite Springs Lodge offers overnight accommodations across its Main Lodge, Cottage, cabins, and villas, making it well suited to weekend weddings and multi-day gatherings alongside single-day events.
