Abyss Hall is a family-owned private event venue in Richmond Hill, Queens, convenient to Jamaica Avenue, public transportation, Brooklyn, and surrounding New York City neighborhoods. Opened in 2018, the modern all-white venue acts as a flexible blank canvas that can be customized for weddings, birthday parties, baby and bridal showers, Sweet 16s, quinceañeras, anniversaries, repasts, graduations, family reunions, corporate meetings, fundraisers, religious functions, and cultural celebrations. The hall accommodates up to 120 guests and includes rectangular and round tables, Chiavari chairs, a DJ booth and event lighting, a topiary boxwood bar with refrigeration, Wi-Fi, television, central heating and air conditioning, a lower-level lounge area, additional restrooms, and wheelchair accessibility. Facility Rental Fee: The venue does not charge a rental fee, but there is a guest minimum—Saturday evening’s minimum is 165 guests, and for Friday or Sunday the minimum is 125 guests.
