Gilbertsville Farmhouse is a 125-acre private estate in upstate New York, designed exclusively for multi-day wedding weekends. We host only 25–28 celebrations per year, ensuring every couple receives complete privacy and the full attention of our dedicated team. Your wedding weekend unfolds over three days across the entire property, no shared spaces, no strangers, no curfew. Up to 250 guests can celebrate on the wedding day, with on-site lodging for 122 across 51 designer king-bed guest houses. The property features four distinctive event spaces, a dedicated after-party cocktail lounge, a one-acre pond with an island gazebo, a hammock park, and a private beach. Between events, guests enjoy curated experiences including goat yoga, bonfires, and encounters with our resident farm animals, including beer burros who greet you after your ceremony with a saddlebag of cold drinks. Our in-house culinary team operates a full commercial kitchen on the property, preparing every meal fresh — from the rehearsal dinner to the farewell brunch. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are available throughout the entire weekend for on-site guests. Menus are fully customizable with a private tasting, and the kitchen accommodates all dietary needs. A dedicated planning coordinator is assigned to you from the day you book through the final toast. On your wedding weekend, our full experience team is on-site from arrival to departure, managing every detail so you can be a guest at your own celebration. Wedding ceremonies and parties are right at home in the Cracker Factory's second-floor gallery area, which is 6,000 square feet of space that can be tailored to suit your needs perfectly. The gallery area has undergone meticulous renovation to highlight the industrial beauty of the building. Whitewashed columns and timber trusses above are set off by a shiny original hardwood floor. The room is bathed in soaring natural light during the day, and the big industrial windows also create sweeping reflections on the floor. The room is warmly lit at night by a variety of tiny lights. With climate control and a 376 person capacity, the area is ideal for events of any size, from small, private gatherings to huge celebrations. A full bar, a caterer's kitchen, and handicap accessibility are all provided for the gallery. In the gallery area and a recently refurbished smaller event space, we hold concerts, banquets, art displays, and other events. Meadow Ridge Farm was founded in the late 19th century by a Manhattan-based financier who commuted by boat to the property’s river beachfront. Covering 100 acres alongside the Hudson, with views of the Berkshire and Catskill mountain ranges that define the Hudson Valley, the farm features meadows of golden grain, woods of black walnut, oak and pine trees, landscaped natural streams and a pond. Its gardens and allées of red maple trees give the farm four seasons of brilliant color and natural charm. The property offers multiple ceremony locations, including a beautiful wooded glade surrounded by towering trees and the Hudson River just beyond where you take your vows. The Farm’s original English-Dutch style dairy barn, one of the largest of its kind in the northeast, has been meticulously restored and lavishly updated to create an ideal event venue with seating for up to 300 people. Extensive dry-stack stone walls support the barn and create a dramatic entryway.
