Kelli Connell's twenty-year study with one model is an introspective examination of sexuality and gender roles in intimate relationships that form self-identity. The project investigates identity polarities such as the masculine and feminine psyche, the irrational and rational self, the outward and interior self, and the motivated and resigned self. Body language and clothes define the dualities of the person by mixing several photographic negatives of the same model in each image. The significance of these photos rests in their portrayal of internal conflicts as an outward object: a photograph. The spectator is presented with "constructed realities" through these pictures. Rentals and Photoshoots Holding your event at the Alice Austen House gardens is an opportunity to participate in New York City history. With magnificent views of lower Manhattan and Brooklyn, the historic venue offers outdoor leases for wedding ceremonies and shooting opportunities. The Alice Austen House offers a unique background for your wedding ceremony or photo/film shoot, with lovely period gardens, a landmarked Victorian Cottage, and a wide waterfront vista of the New York harbor. Only wedding ceremonies, business retreats, and film and photoshoots are now available for rent, and this historic New York location is the ideal setting for these events. The Roycroft Inn is a National Historic Landmark inn, restaurant, and event venue set in the village of East Aurora, New York, 30 miles south of Buffalo. The Roycroft Campus and its distinctive way of life began in 1897, inspired by Elbert Hubbard, founder of the American Arts and Crafts Movement. The Inn opened in 1905 to welcome visitors to this creative community, attracting artists, writers, and intellectuals from across the country. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1986, the property underwent an $8 million restoration supported by the Margaret L. Wendt Foundation and reopened in 1995. Limoncello at The Orange Inn is a fine-dining Italian restaurant and event venue housed in a historic building in Goshen, New York. Originally constructed in the 1700s, the structure served across the centuries as a courthouse, post office, and inn — hosting notable guests including George Washington and James Cagney. Limoncello has occupied this storied building for nearly a decade, bringing contemporary Italian hospitality into a setting shaped by centuries of local history. Three private dining areas — the Main Dining Room, the Blue Room, and the Conference Room — accommodate gatherings ranging from 20 to 100 guests, alongside a fully stocked bar and outdoor patio seating. The kitchen offers both onsite and offsite catering. The adjoining boutique hotel, The Orange Inn, provides overnight accommodations for guests traveling from outside the area.

The historic gardens at Planting Field make the ideal location for weddings, rehearsal dinners, and other special occasions.
