Sports Center of Richmond (SCOR) is a climate-controlled sports campus in Richmond, Virginia, built around indoor and outdoor soccer fields and a family-friendly atmosphere for recreation and athletic play. Beyond its adult and youth soccer leagues, camps, and the nationally renowned Lil' Kickers program for children as young as 18 months, SCOR hosts a full slate of private events through its Parties & Events program. Kids' birthday parties combine field games such as soccer, dodgeball, and kickball with an inflatable obstacle course and a dedicated Party Zone, with setup and cleanup handled by SCOR's coaching staff. The campus also hosts special occasions such as Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, graduations, retirements, and milestone birthdays, along with holiday celebrations, corporate meetings and retreats, and team-building events. Opened in 1927 as the Mosque Theater, Altria Theater is one of Richmond's most recognizable buildings, designed by architects Marcellus Wright, Sr., Charles M. Robinson, and Charles Custer Robinson in an Egyptian Revival style with towering minarets and desert murals. Built under the Shriners and later purchased by the City of Richmond in 1940, the theater underwent a major renovation in 1994-95 that restored its original architectural grandeur. Today the theater seats up to 3,600 guests for concerts, Broadway productions, and other live entertainment, and its private event spaces have hosted weddings, galas, trade shows, and corporate functions. The Grand Ballroom, decorated with the sweeping columns and ornamental detail original to the building, accommodates up to 800 guests seated or 1,400 standing. Monroe Park, an outdoor space overlooking the theater's facade, holds up to 600 guests seated or 1,000 standing, and multiple lobbies, lounges, and parlors throughout the building offer additional gathering space for smaller functions such as holiday parties, baby showers, and family reunions.

The Valentine is a history museum in downtown Richmond, Virginia, founded in 1898 from the estate of Mann S. Valentine II, whose fortune came from Valentine's Meat Juice. His collection, along with the historic Wickham House, became the foundation for a museum now dedicated to collecting, preserving, and interpreting Richmond's history. Beyond its galleries, the Valentine's campus opens its doors for private events, offering roughly 20,000 square feet of indoor venue space alongside an outdoor garden, patio, and terrace. Havana '59 is a cigar bar and Cuban restaurant set in a historic building in Richmond, Virginia's Shockoe Bottom neighborhood. Exposed plaster walls, oversized open windows, string lights, and palm trees set a casual yet elegant scene meant to evoke a bygone era, with the aroma of fine cigars part of the atmosphere throughout. The kitchen presses its own juices in house for cocktails and sources ingredients locally for its scratch kitchen, complementing a menu of authentic fusion cuisine. For private events, Havana '59 offers its second and third floor patios, which can be booked separately or combined. Housed in the historic Virginia Dairy building at 1812 West Main Street in Richmond's Fan District, the Visual Arts Center of Richmond has supported the region's creative life since 1963, when it was founded in Church Hill as the Hand Workshop. After leasing space for 17 years, the organization purchased and later renovated the building, completing a 2007 expansion that created a 30,000-square-foot arts center anchored by the 1,800-square-foot True F. Luck Gallery. The center's 17 professionally-equipped studios support media ranging from clay, glass, and metals to photography, printmaking, and creative writing, and its programming reaches more than 50,000 people each year through over 1,600 classes taught by more than 250 instructors. Beyond classes and exhibitions, the Visual Arts Center of Richmond opens its facility for off-site meetings, corporate holiday parties, anniversary celebrations, bar and bat mitzvahs, baby showers, and other private gatherings. Rentals include an hour for clean-up and use of the center's in-house A/V equipment. The venue also hosts childrens birthday parties built around a private studio art class, and a Creativity at Work program that brings corporate teams together for team-building through the creative process.

The John Marshall Ballrooms occupies the historic Hotel John Marshall, which opened in downtown Richmond in 1929 as the largest hotel in Virginia and once welcomed guests including Elizabeth Taylor, Mary Tyler Moore, Elvis Presley, and Presidents Nixon, Ford, and Carter. After sitting vacant for more than twenty years, the building underwent an $80 million, two-year renovation that restored its original 1920s grandeur, and it now operates as a full-service wedding and event venue. The Marshall Ballroom features nine vintage crystal chandeliers, three walls of thirty-foot windows, and hand-crafted molding, seating up to 150 guests with a dance floor. The Virginia Ballroom is anchored by a grand split staircase leading to a wraparound balcony that adds extra seating or mingling space above its 27-by-27-foot dance floor, accommodating seated dinners of up to 360 guests or cocktail receptions of up to 650. A grand lobby serves as an entry point and cocktail-hour space. Homemades by Suzanne serves as the venue's exclusive in-house caterer, handling catering, chairs, linens, china, setup, and cleanup for events held in the ballrooms.

Built in 1937 in Richmond's Church Hill neighborhood, the Robinson Theater is a restored Art Deco Moderne building named for Richmond native Bill "Bojangles" Robinson. Commissioned by Hill Entertainment Group and designed by architect Edward F. Sinnott, the theater once anchored the neighborhood's social life, hosting films, singers, dancers, jazz bands, and amateur talent shows, before closing in the mid-1980s after decades of decline. A 2008 historic restoration returned the building to community use, complete with a replica of its original marquee. Today the Robinson Theater Community Arts Center operates as a multi-purpose nonprofit space, hosting dance, karate, acting, and music lessons alongside movie nights, community meetings, receptions, and recitals. Conveniently located near I-64 in Richmond's East End, the theater is available for private event rental, with a virtual tour offered on its website for prospective renters.
