With great pride, AXIS Pioneer Square has preserved 10,000sqft within the historic 1889 Globe Building as Seattle’s most exciting event space. Our two joinable spaces are centered on a series of 15’ brick archways, blending seamlessly into antique wood floors with a sprinkle of industrial-modern design. The versatility of AXIS allows us to perfectly accommodate small gatherings all the way up to large events of 550 guests (cocktail style). Our venue is one of the only large capacity non-hotel event spaces in downtown Seattle and is easy walking distance to numerous downtown hotels, as well as the burgeoning Pioneer Square restaurant and bar scene (right out our back door). The modular space is designed by event professionals to allow you to customize your event within our stunning confines. Despite the fact that our west is no longer the wild and untamed frontier of yesteryear, its difficulties remain genuine, and its environment is still underdeveloped. There is still more to be built in the whiskey industry, and we are positioned now in our common history to embark on our own bold effort. And so we set forth, full of hope and determination, to construct our future and sculpt our Western landscape. Innovativeness is inherent in American Single Malt Whiskey, both in its creation and in its continued presence. Having said that, we don't innovate just for the sake of being innovative. However, we see the chance to offer new ideas to the world of single malt whiskey, and we will continue to be devoted to expressing our provenance. Built in the SoDo neighborhood of downtown Seattle, the 13,000 square-foot building features 40-foot ceilings, exposed original wood beams, and plenty of open space for working and relaxing. There is a spacious Tasting Room and Bar that serves as the main location for entertaining visitors, while the Cask Room adjacent to the Tasting Room provides a more private atmosphere.

Built in 1923, this three-story facility contains a variety of spaces suitable for your event needs. This historical church building includes arched windows, vaulted ceilings and custom woodwork and lighting. The building has been updated to serve as an event venue. We have two large spaces that are great for weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvah's, corporate events and celebrations.

Bateau, french for “boat,” is both a nod to our first restaurant, Boat Street Café, as well as an attempt to reimagine the American steak house around quality, sustainability and animal welfare. With the name About Bateau, which comes from the French word for "boat," we're paying homage to our first restaurant, Boat Street Café, while also attempting to reimagine the American steakhouse in the context of quality, sustainability, and animal welfare. Traditional cattle breeds, renowned for their flavor, are the centerpiece of Bateau's whole animal menu. These cattle breeds are selected and owned by Bateau and cared for by Pure Country, a Food Alliance certified ranch located in Moses Lake, Washington. All of our cows are raised in a humane manner, fed only grass, and, most importantly, finished only on pasture. Bateau's beef is dry aged for a minimum of 21 days before being butchered on site by Scott Johnson, the butcher for the restaurant. This is certainly not the quickest, easiest, or most cost-effective method of preparing beef, but we believe it is the most effective. Along with Chef Taylor Thornhill's inventive dishes, which frequently include foraged and fermented ingredients, specialty cuts are sold by the pound or by the quantity of meat available. In addition to steakhouse classics done right, such as twice-fried frites and buttery mashed potatoes, the menu includes iconic cocktails and an extensive bottle list. The service is warm and welcoming while also being refined. Many of the fixtures and furniture pieces from Boat Street Café have been repurposed in the dining room as a nod to the former location. The rough slate tables, which are now decades old, as well as the 'Jeffry' chalk drawing by artist Curtis Steiner, will be familiar to visitors. In order to express what is happening in our corner of the world and to pay homage to our beginnings at Boat Street Café, we are attempting to create something new and exciting at Bateau. Benaroya Hall, the home of the Seattle Symphony and a glistening diamond in the crown of downtown's cultural scene, brings together elegance, convenience, and accessibility. Because of its spaciousness and natural light, Benaroya Hall is a perfect venue for gatherings ranging in size from 50 to 1,200 attendees. It also offers on-site catering and event management services. The lofty Grand Lobby or the more intimate Norcliffe Founder's Room are both adaptable and acoustically superb auditoriums to accommodate your needs. Historic Mansion + Carriage House surrounded by green space in charming First Hill neighborhood HISTORY The Mansion maintains the historic glamour and charm of the 1900s as originally one of Seattle’s founding families estate home. The splendor of the Stimson-Green Mansion derives from an assortment of vintage artifacts, fixtures, fireplaces and leaded windows. Home to the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation, no detail is overlooked. BEST USES The Mansion offers a fantastic backdrop for any event looking to add a touch of historic grandeur. From a casual birthday party to an intimate wedding celebration, the venue is flexible to meet your vision. Each booking is expected to bring their own food and beverage. Your rental includes everything you need such as warming trays, compostable plates and flatware, serving platters, ice, and more. You will work with our Events Coordinator to determine the best floor plan for your event. Tables and chairs are available in a variety of layouts that perfectly suite a cocktail party for 150 or a seating affair for up to 65 people. Other options can be provided at an additional cost, such as bartender, DJ, and parking garage. THE SPACE The main floor and main entrance welcomes guests with a Grand Foyer worthy of the family that built this home. To one end of the hall is the Library and a view of the largest fireplace of the property. All throughout is artwork and artifacts reflecting the early 20th century history of the building. The Library is home to both a large ornate fireplace and also a small mezzanine that is home to a baby grand piano. One wall is lined with books and another with large picture windows. Portraits of the Stimson & Green families give the room a regal atmosphere. The dining room also includes a fireplace and an ornate romanesque dining table that seats 20 (including 20 upholstered dining chairs), plenty of room for the grandest food buffet.
