The Celeste building was originally built in 1888 by the firm Denkmar Adler & Louis Sullivan as a glass factory, the building still exudes the vintage glow that harkens back to the Hubbard neighborhood’s industrial roots. However, inside Celeste, there are four distinct levels –Whiskey Bar, Deco Supper Club, Disco, and the rooftop Garden – each interpreting a glamorous late 19th and early 20th century mood with subtly gorgeous nuances. These include a combination of tiled floors with monogrammed glass walls and iron detail and gold leaf ceilings with marble and Victorian furniture. Located at 111 W. Hubbard Street, CELESTE is open Wednesday through Friday from 5pm to 4am and Saturday from 5pm to 5am. Our chefs are an integral part of service. Roister’s food is rooted in primal cooking techniques combined with modern technology when it produces better results. The results are a combination of understated platings and vibrant flavors. It is the perfect environment for celebrating with a party, small or large, for dinner, brunch, or cocktails and snacks. We have event packages to fit each of these occasions. Supper Clubs are a Midwestern tradition and our St. Clair Supper Club is named after chef Achatz's home town in Michigan.
