Clear Creek Park Amphitheater is an outdoor performance and event venue set within Clear Creek Park — Shelbyville and Shelby County's original and oldest park. The 130-acre park grounds include a botanical garden, fishing lake, ball fields, dog park, and swimming facilities, providing a natural, park-setting backdrop for events of all kinds. The amphitheater is available for private event rentals, including weddings, receptions, family reunions, and community gatherings. Shelby County Parks & Recreation manages the facility and coordinates event bookings through their parks department.

Keene Run is an 18-hole championship golf course set on 208 acres in Nicholasville, Kentucky, just south of the Fayette County line and surrounded by the horse farms characteristic of the Lexington area. Opened in 2007, the course features wide fairways, large greens, and Bent grass throughout both fairways and putting surfaces — and has hosted the Women's Kentucky Open, multiple USGA Qualifiers, and the Kentucky PGA Tournament Series Championship. The Keene Run clubhouse is available for weddings, corporate meetings, and private celebrations. Both indoor and outdoor settings are offered, and the clubhouse can accommodate groups from 10 to 250 guests. The facility includes a ceremony site, bridal dressing room, and men's lounge for weddings, along with conference rooms equipped with audio-visual services and WiFi for corporate events. Exclusive in-house catering is provided by the club's own culinary and staffing team, and all rentals are included with the venue and catering package. The Brown-Pusey House is a historic Georgian mansion built in 1825, located in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Originally constructed as a private residence, the house later operated as a boarding house that welcomed notable guests — among them General George Armstrong Custer and his wife Elizabeth during his assignment in Elizabethtown, and Jenny Lind, the renowned Swedish opera singer who performed on its front steps. In 1923, descendants of the original family restored the property and gifted it to the community. Today the Brown-Pusey House serves as a gathering place for weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthday celebrations, club meetings, reunion dinners, and galas. The main floor ballroom accommodates up to 100 guests for receptions, while the second-floor Poplar Suite — with its sunroom overlooking the Cunningham Garden — provides a more intimate setting for showers, luncheons, and corporate off-site meetings. The formal Cunningham Garden behind the house offers an outdoor backdrop for ceremonies and warm-weather events. In addition to its event spaces, the property houses a museum, a genealogical research library, and a maintained public garden. Complimentary house and garden tours are available to guests during regular hours, Tuesday through Saturday.
